Has anyone here been to Crystal Palace in the past couple weeks? I've seen some recent reports in Facebook groups that Pooh isn't visiting tables anymore and is taking photos in the entry area. Anyone here have any experience with this?

I don't think Pooh has ever gone around to tables. We've been going to Disney since 1998 and he's always met with guests in the entrance area.

I was there two weeks ago and confirmed. No Pooh at the tables. He waits and stands for pics at the center entrance. It was awkward with a line forming where people are walking with plates ect. I got stuck waiting for the bill to finish paying and missed taking pics as my family took off with out me! Not sure why they are doing this (Crystal palace not my family! LOL). They also did not have the omelet station (it was used for pancakes instead) and the scrambled eggs were those reconstituted ones....I am guessing the egg shortage is hitting breakfast buffets!!

For what they charge, I'd like to think they could absorb the increased cost of eggs. Utterly ridiculous.

Personally, I'm pretty glad that there is no pooh at the tables. 🤣 Thanks to the custodial staff for that!

Touche' best comment of the day-thanks!!

When we were there in 2015, that was how you got a picture with Tigger, he was at the entrance and the other characters came to the table. Last visit, thye all just came to the table.

We went last year and Pooh came around whereas Tigger did not. Think it might rotate.

Going in June so I can report back if anyone cares.

Is Pooh still not coming to the tables? I have a little girl excited about Pooh.

We were there in May and you could meet Pooh at the planter in the middle of the room any time you wanted. We were there for late breakfast/early lunch. When we stopped in later to meet Piglet (mid-afternoon) it was not crowded and I think Pooh was going around at the time. But either way, you get to meet him. He just may or may not come to your table.

Okay thank you for the info!

Pooh was in the middle last week too!

At CP I actually almost prefer that because we were told the characters are on a 90 minute rotating loop. Don’t know if anyone has tried to have a 90 minute dining experience with a toddler, but yea, always a challenge.

I get they have to manage it but we just missed Tigger in that rotation and got a begrudging Cast Member to just let my daughter say hi on the way out as he was crossing the restaurant.

Our waitress told us that Pooh was in the middle to see on our way out after we finish. I think it was done to try and speed people up potentially. We didn’t want to bring all our stuff to see Pooh so we just waited until no one was in line and then went over in the middle of our meal and saw Pooh and then went back to our table. Waitress didn’t like that very much lol

They really try to turn over the tables super fast at the character meals, for over $60 bucks a head I’m going to take at least an hour but it seems like they aim to have parties in and out in under 45 minutes which is a very fast meal in my opinion. The worst is when you just sit down and all of a sudden every single character stops by within the first 5 minutes and then never comes back.
