Hi all! We are leaving in 7 days and I just got a reservation for Crystal Palace for breakfast. I can't wait to see Eeyore!

DH wants to know: Do they have made to order omelets?

Also, in general, how is the food?

Thanks!

I'm not a big egg person, but I believe they do have made to order omelets..

Crystal Palace for breakfast is a must do for DH and I - we start our first "full" day in the world there for breakfast :goodvibes

The food is good, and there is a lot of variety.

We ate there in May and fell in love with the place!

We will be eating there again on our aniverasary next month:lovestruc, and I can't wait! They food was yummy, the characters are great, and there is nothing like being on Main St. before it opens for the day.

We thought there was a good variety at breakfast.

Thanks everyone! We were originally planning to eat there but had to cancel our ADR for a soccer game. Well, the team that DH coaches was moved up a bracket so we had to cancel the 1900 Park Fare ADR we had replaced the original CP one, and were shocked to find an 8:50am ADR for Crystal Palace on 12/27! We can't wait!

Our anniversary is in January too. Happy early anniversary!

Crystal Palace is my favorite place for breakfast in Disney. And the main reason for that is because of the food. It's always really good, and I LOVE the Cinnamon Puffed French Toast. It's like a doughnut and French Toast had a baby, and that is the delicious result.

Yes, they do have made to order omelets.

Don't miss the chocolate Mickey waffles!!!! I think it might be the only place that has them. It's chocolate batter, not dipped or smothered in it. They are DIVINE! :cloud9: I think it's the only thing I'll bother putting on my plate now. :) Well, maybe a few scrambled eggs. ;) I'm the only egg eater in my house so I rarely get them.

I'll be the one to disagree. The characters were great but I thought the food was average at best. IHOP is definitely a better breakfast. Probably wouldn't go as far as to say that Waffle House is better but its pretty close. Nothing at the breakfast (and we sampled most of it) was that good. But again, the food at Disney is about on par with national restaurant chain food. They will make omeletts for you. And hopefully you'll disagree with me and have a great experience.

Yes they have a made to order me let station......but no one has mentioned "Winnie the pooh french toast". It's like deep fried and covered with sugar or something......although they may not have any on the 27th cause we are eating there the 26th, and last year my husband spent the rest of the day telling me "you're a good eater":rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
We love cp character breakfast!

Not to argue at all... just sharing more info... We've had breakfast there 3 times. The first 2 times I COMPLETELY agree w/ your assessment. But we wanted to get into the park early and also do a character breakfast in the MK area (we will NOT do CMs anymore) so we decided to try once more and it was actually by far a HUGE improvement! It could have been a lucky day or it could be that our previous 2 visits were bad days. It was divine! We were pleasantly surprised. You just never know. That said though, I loathe IHOP.
*Our last visit was Nov. 2010

We love it!!!

We ate there a couple of weeks ago and are going back during our spring trip.

I love the breakfast pizza and the frittata! Yum yum yumm!

Thank you, I really do value everyone's opinions, both good and bad. We are going to be in MK that day, and it will work out well that we won't have to leave the park to have breakfast. I would have loved to change our 1900 Park Fare breakfast to earlier, but that just won't work. So we're eating there on 12/31, our last day.

I've heard about that french toast, but the Mickey chocolate waffles - good thing we're going to be at ESPN WWoS following breakfast, I'll have to do a couple laps around the "in field" perimeter, it's about 3 miles!

We're mainly going because I want to see Eeyore, I missed him on our last visit in Feb/March (unless you count the topiary that I saw of him), and he's my all time favorite character. DH will be happy with the omelets, and I'll be happy with Eeyore! Thanks everyone. Happy holidays!

We started our week off here last week and it was perfect all around. Everyone loved the food, the characters loved on both of our girls and our server was great. My personal favorite was the corned beef hash, which is normally something that I DO NOT eat - it was fantastic.

We loved our breakfast at the Crystal Palace. The puffed french toast is really good and the characters are so adorable. Have a great trip!

Also an added bonus if you make your ADR 1st thing in the AM or before the park opens they let you in earlier than the general public so you have a little time to snap away some pictures before the mass of people show up : )

Reallly? I think IHOP is ok. Anyway, I agree that it is great to get into the park early and we definitely could have hit it on a bad day, just like any other restaurant. The experience was fun, just thought the food didn't match up to the cost (though that has generally been my experience at DW).

YEah, not much of an IHOP fan BUT people obviously do like it. :thumbsup2

But I TOTALLY agree that the food doesn't match up w/ the price. In fact I think that's the case everywhere on property.;) But that's another thread. :rolleyes1 ;) You just suck it up because that's what you have. ;)

Yes made to order, any way you like it my husband made a couple trips poor guy lol. And definitely try the puffed french toast, omgoodness I am still dreaming about those things. Enjoy!

CP is my favorite CB. I always have the hot quinoa porridge. Go left to the Adventure Land RD, cross the bridge, and you have a quick route to Splash & Big Thunder Mountains.
