Hey Dis'ers! Need to make sure I'm not losing my mind here. We always start every trip with breakfast at the Magic Kingdom. This year's trip will be no exception however we have always had the dining plan in the past. We decided to go sans-plan this time so I was checking into pricing.

On WDW's site it says "$$$ $36-$59.99 per person"

On the DIS it says breakfast is $20.99 per adult and $11.99 per child. I just want to be sure that's right because with 4 adults and one child, we're talking a $200+ difference if it's actually $59.99. LOL

The DIS is correct about the price at CP. We were just there in December and that's what we paid.

I was there in '09, so I can't tell you for sure. But, at that time, with 3A and 1C buffet meals, I think it ended up being right at $100.

Those prices don't make any sense. The top price (which would be dinner) would rival CRT for dinner and that is 2TS on the DDP.

AllEars.net has the prices as $22.99 for adults and $11.99 for children for breakfast. I know they are not always 100% right, but that is such a huge gap in pricing. We are
scheduled to go in May (not on DDP, but TIW), but we won't be going if it's much different than what AllEars has listed.

Is there anyone who can confirm 2011 pricing?

:confused3

Edit: Also looked at 1900 Park Fare out of curiosity. They have their prices as $15 - $36 and the disclaimer at the bottom say it's supposed to
be based on individual adult pricing (for character meals). Since I think we all know an adult breakfast at 1900 isn't $15, I'm feeling better about
what's listed on AllEars.

The allears site says the menu was updated as of 1/11 and lists the prices as:

COST: $22.99 adults; Children $12.99 (3-9)

I will be there a week from this Saturday so ill give you an officially official cost lol. :thumbsup2

Thanks, saw the prices but didn't catch the 1/11 date. Hopefully Hockeyman will make it officially official! :thumbsup2

Just a reminder that there is often a price increase during holiday/peak season so it's entirely possible that it was $22.99 in Jan (coming off of Christmas) but back to $20.99 in Feb :confused3

Heck thats even better than $30.99 lol :upsidedow

Are you sure that $36-60 price range didn't refer to dinner? I would expect to see prices for most buffet dinners creeping up toward the mid 30s, with the busy time surcharge pushing it toward $40. But breakfasts should still be in the lower 20s.

I interrupt this thread for a very important announcement!!!

$26.99 for breakfast!!! Lol

We were one of the first groups to get in this morning and it was a great experience and worth every penny. Food was great, characters came around and interacted with us for a decent amount of time and it wasn't super crowded.

Tried to put up some pics using my iPhone but it's being stubborn and giving me trouble : (

All Ears is actually correct this time:

Non-Peak $22.99/adult
Peak $26.99/adult

Plus tax and tip. So, for a peak season breakfast at Crystal Palace, you are looking at $28.75 tax incl, without tip. Close to $30.00 for breakfast! Gone are the days of $18.00 breakfasts at Disney. By contrast, dinner at Crystal Palace is $41.53 tax included, without tip. Close to $50.00 for dinner!

Here is a link to my thread from January listing new buffet prices (got most of them), by calling Disney Dining Dept.:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2627843

Peak seasons are:

February 17-26, 2011
March 11 - April 30, 2011
June 3 - August 13, 2011
December 21-31, 2011

Hope this helps, Tiger :)
