Was thinking of doing the Crystal Palace for an early breakfast on my last day at WDW. How early do the ADR's start? How is the food? Have had lunch & dinner there, but never breakfast. How crowded is this on a Sunday morning?

We did this 4 years ago on our trip. We loved the food and our ADR was for 8:10 we ate and did the characters within 40 minutes and were at the rope drop in Fantasyland before opening. We also had time to get our pic taken with Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle as they were lead by to do the rope drop ( I thinkt hat is where they went LOL) . Which was awesome. I am trying to decide if I want to go that route again or do a dinner res there. Anyways I highly recomend breakfast at the CP! It is one of my most cherished memories as I love the Pooh Charaters. The food was traditional breakfast fare to the extreme just about every breakfast food you can picture. I believe the first ADR is 8:05.

We did this on our last trip but I'm not sure it would be worth doing again, especially if you need to use 2 ts on the dining plan.

We love the breakfast buffet at Crystal Palace! The food was very good. I would have to say it is the best buffet breakfast we've had. We're going again in April. I'm looking forward to the breakfast lasagna again. It was so good, and calorie free I'm sure! ;) The characters were very attentive also.

We had ADR's for 8:00 AM this past February. DH knew to wait at the window around the corner from the entrance while everyone else was milling around, so he was the first to sign in and we were the first in the restaurant. It wasn't too crowded, but it was a Thursday morning. When we went the day before, our ADR was for 9:30 AM and we were told it would be an hour to hour and a half wait and not to go too far because the beepers only go so far. It seems people just weren't leaving. So we decided to take a miss and try again the next day for an earlier reservation which led to the 8:00 ADR. As I remember it was only one TS credit though.

The earliest ADR is 8:05. I've asked for the 8 because we all know how important those 5 minutes are, but they said no. Love the breakfast here!!!

When did the Crystal Palace change to 2 table service credits? I thought it was just Cindy's that did that.

Last I heard it was still only 1TS, CRT is 2 TS :thumbsup2

That is one of our favorite meals! We've done it twice, and will probably continue to do it as long as we can, or our kids are willing. We've had 8:05 and 8:15 ADRs, and it didn't really matter. We were at the MK gates as soon as they would let us in (8 am) and seated really quickly both times. The food is good, the characters are fun, and we're finished right as the park is opening for the day. What can beat that???

We did breakfast for the first time last trip and will be doing it again on our next trip! :)
