As most of you will know Shirley has this thing about Piglet and would like to have breakfast with him at the Crystal Palace.

Sometimes we have found that the breakfast can be a lot of money and not quite what we expected.

any views to if it is worthwhile.

She will be seeing Piglet on other (many) times during the trip so it is not the end of the world if we don't go.

We did a character breakfast at CP a few years ago and to be honest you don't get an awfully long time with each character - just enough time for a photo and an autograph. You get much longer with Piglet if you see him at the judges tent in the Toontown Fare :)

We went to both CP and Breakfastsaurus for character breakfasts last year and felt that the difference in quality and experience was like night and day. The AK meal was crowded with a quick photo with the characters and generally a waste of effort if it wasn't for the fact that we used vouchers. A week later we went to CP and it was such an improvement we couldn't believe it. It's a much brighter and more spacious area with friendlier and more attentive service. We had each of the four characters at our table twice and our daughters had at least two sets of pictures with Winnie the Pooh in the main photo area. The children could also march around the rooms with the characters when the song was playing. Also, the food was good quality and plentiful without the huge queues of AK, and this was in the 4th July period. We have really happy memories of the breakfast at CP and can't recommend it highly enough. As for the other one...

It's nearly 7 years since we did the CP breakfast, but we had a lot of time with the characters. It could have been because it was dd's birthday, but I think the fact that we were at one of the later sittings might have helped, too. From what I remember, the breakfast was good and it's a lovely setting.

My husband & I have never done the breakfast at CP - but have done the lunch a couple of times and have really enjoyed the food, the service & the characters!! Get a priority seating for near the start of the meal session and it is quiet & you don't have to wait long to see the characters.

We are just two adults - no kids - but I am a Pooh & friends freak - they do spend more time with kids - as they should I think - but we still had loads of fun & great photos. Our servers have thought it was funny that I am as excited about Pooh as the kids!!

I didn't ask for autographs - but next trip I might!!

We have done this breakfast both trips and have thoroughly enjoyed it. We had late PSs around 10ish I think. We thought the food good with a reasonably good choice and we found the character interaction great. I think all but Eyeore came to our table at least 3 times - at one point I kinda wished them away from our table as I wanted peace to finish my breakfast!!!

I’m planning on trying lunch next trip just as a change from breakfast.

We were at the Crystal Palace for breakfast a couple of weeks ago.

Plenty of photo and autograph opportunities. Excellent buffet.

Superb!

Worth every single dollar.

Regards,

Rannoch

PS Also went to Chef Mickey at Contemporary. Crystal Palace much classier.
