Crystal Palace Breakfast Price

This morning I was going over my food budget for my trip in October and I noticed that CP was now 28.75 per Adult for Breakfast. Has it always been this price and I just did not notice? I really do not remember paying $65 bucks for breakfast for 2.

Nope the price of buffet meals across the board has gone up crazy fast. Attribute it to the perceived value of the DDP. I have not been to any buffet type wdw offering since the dramatic price increases and quality decreases, but I also pay oop for all meals!

Funny, I haven't checked since we were there last year and had a look yesterday and noticed the same (although we are doing lunch only this year). I seem to remember thinking along similar lines last year and then discovered that the meals cost less than I anticipated when we got there. I am pretty certain that (at least the Allears menus which were updated in the last month or so) are reflecting the peak surcharge of $4 per adult (I don't know off the bat what, if any surcharge there is on a child's buffet).

I see on Disney's dining site that they are listing the price for the Crystal Palace for "$36.99 - $54.99". Eek! I hope they haven't raised the price of The Crystal Palace Breakfast to $36.99 for kids!

Has anyone been there yet in 2012 that paid OOP?

That price does include the peak surcharge, so subtract about $4. It also includes your tax, so you don't need to add anything to the price, but you'll still be paying about $50 for breakfast for 2.

Is this true for all buffets listed on allears? We are going down in a few and paying oop for all of our meals. Which, btw, mostly consist of character meals.

Not all of them. If the last update was Aug 2011, then it probably reflects the peak charge as it was still in effect when they made the update.

I called Disney dining and the prices were all different than what allears had listed. Some were even more and a few were a dollar or 2 less. And we are not even going during a peak holiday time.
