Crystal Palace- Breakfast or Lunch?

Originally I was going to go after the 8:05AM ADR time but I decided it'd be better for us to go later in the day.

I was looking at either trying for the latest breakfast seating or the earliest lunch seating... which meal is better? Are there different characters at the different meals?

We're 2 adults.

When you go for an early breakfast--if it is before the official park opening--you get to pass everybody waiting. And, generally, have Main Street to yourself for a few minutes walking to the restuarant. You can get the coolest picl.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do plan on going to CRT later in the trip before park opening... it's going to be on our 90+10 day so I have no doubt I'll be able to get it. Crystal Palace would just work so much better to be later but I don't know if I still want to do breakfast or go with lunch.

we did breakfast in april and it was really good. we did the 8:05 am sitting and the food was all fresh and hot. whatever you do don't leave without eating the breakfast pizza. it was so good.

We did a late breakfast at CP and it was the worst meal with the worst service I have ever encountered at WDW. While early am may be okay, we were treated like c*** and no one cared. The food was awful - old, leftover breakfast food. I have allergies and it took forever for the chef to come to the table and then he acted like he didn't care about my issues.

However, we have done early lunch there on many occasions and loved it - fresh food and good service.

The characters are the same for any meal - Winnie the Pooh and friends.

We had a bad experience with a late breakfast.
Early at 8:05 is much better.

So...I'd do an early lunch if that's the choice.

We have done both.
We liked the early breakfast, because we were done a little before the park opened.
We also did lunch at 11:45. We liked it because we came in early to MK and did some rides and then had a nice lunch and then back to the room for a rest.

I would say try the lunch since your doing CRT for breakfast.
