Crystal Palace Advice... We are going on a quick trip to the World Feb 8-10 for our DD's 2nd birthday. I currently have ressies for the Crystal Palace dinner on Sat the 9th thinking it would be a nice way to end our day at the park. Now, I am thinking (if I can get), maybe I should do the breakfast before the park opens since reading a lot of other trip reports. We have done the breakfast, but late morning, and have never done the dinner. I didn't realize they open before the park does - that is so cool. This is her actual birthday, so was just thinking dinner for cake, etc to celebrate. I don't like to do two big meals a day. We are doing dinner the night before at Kona and the Ohana Character breakfast on the 10th. What would you guys do?

Dinner is always very good, we have skipped it the last 4 or 5 trips but DH said to make sure we get back there in April.

Do the b-fast. Get the first ADR of the day and then you will get into the MK before the park is open. Its just magical walking down Main Street with no one else around.

We just discovered this trick last year with b-fast at CRT. This year we are doing CP even though my kids are WAY past the Pooh and Friends stage. :goodvibes

We LOVE the breakfast but are not bog fans of the dinner.... like the previous post said go for that 8:05 am ressie... then you are just about done when the rope drops.... plus when you go in you practically have Main St. to yourself!!!

Def the breakfast! It has always been very good and we dont usually like buffets. I made ADR's for our upcoming trip:cool1:

Thank you all so much. I am going to try to switch now - I have three days to try to get so hopefully I will be able to get an early ADR. I may actually keep the dinner and try the breakfast Monday - we are 99% sure that we are going to try to extend our stay one more night because we are moving from Florida in April so won't be close to Disney anymore:(.

We did the dinner last year and really enjoyed it. So the breakfast is even better huh? I'll keep that in mind!

We had dinner there last year and this year we had breakfast. Dinner was wonderful, but breakfast was even BETTER! Would definitely choose breakfast again next time...... :goodvibes

DITTO:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

DH doesn't know this yet, but I just extended our stay another night and we have the 8:05 ressie for Monday 2/11. Well, I mentioned it while he was watching TV and he just said "OK... do what you need to do and tell me how much" - hee hee. It all makes perfect sense because they are offering a 4-day park pass for $125 for FL residents and we were going to get 3-days for the same amount. Now I have to try to get off work:rotfl: .
