I would love to go as I love the Ti double grrrrrr!!! DS loves Piglet. I am wondering which meal has the best food and character interaction.

Thanks guys if you don't mind sharing your expereinces that would be great!!

Off to the 100 acre wood!!!! Hope they don't have laundry for me there!!!

Well, I voted for breakfast, but my vote probably shouldn't count because I've never been for dinner. We do breakfast here every trip. The food is amazing, IMO, and I am not a breakfast eater. But they have some really good things including honey yogurt which I put some granola in and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. We have always found the character interaction to be awesome here. We always get 8:05 ADRs, so we're one of the first ones to be seated and have usually seen all of the characters within 20 minutes or so. they also have periodic parades around the restaurant which my DD6 really enjoys.

I can't recommend breakfast here highly enough (and I will be going myself in just a few days!)

Editing to add...I remember reading in the Unofficial Guide or somewhere that Piglet isn't there at dinner. I could be mistaken about this. Someone else will know. But, I'm almost sure I heard that somewhere.

I can't recommend either because this is our first trip. But we did book an ADR for our first day at WDW. However, I booked lunch because it looked like the best food items for our group. I am concerned because when I made the ressie's, I was asked breakfast or dinner... I asked isn't there a lunch and was told, yes there is. Is that not a popular option? Or is that good for character interaction?

I voted breakfast not because the food is better than lunch or dinner but because if you get an early ADR, you can get into MK before it opens. You will be able to walk up a deserted Main Street and feel like a VIP! This only works on non EMH days however since I think 8:00 is the earliest seating. That said, dinner is nice too since you can have a nice, sit down meal with characters without leaving the park.

Give me a couple weeks and I'll let ya know, I have ADRs for both. LOL! Never been, but we made an ADR when we booked our trip for the night we knew we'd be buying MNSSHP tix. Then last week I called and got a breakfast ADR (mom's never done a character meal, and wanted to do a character breakfast) so I wanted to get into the MK early our first day and couldn't justify 2 TS for Cinderella's. Probably overdoing it, the same restaurant twice in one trip. . but oh well, not like I won't be back again to go to others!

We've only been for dinner but it was wonderful. We always go back. I believe Piglet was there. We eat an early dinner (4:30 ish). They all came around multiple times. We take our time and don't let anyone rush us.

This is exactly what we do. We book the 8:05am on a non EMH morning so it puts us in the park early. We love walking down Main Street when so few people are there. It makes us feel special

We did both on our last trip.
We preffered breakfast. Dinner was good too though.
I honestly don't remember the character interaction that well, as my kids weren't real concerned about meeting them.
But I do remember Pooh, Piglet and Tigger were at both, and I don't remembrer seeing Eeyore at dinner, but yes at breakfast for sure.

The puffed french toast is so good. Tasted kinda like a churro!!

We've eaten there for breakfast and dinner and we much prefer breakfast. Part of it is being able to walk down Main Street with almost no one else and taking pictures in front of the castle with no one in the background.

Exactly!! The food has been great every time we've gone... but early morning in the park is beyond awesome!

didn't vote because we have not had dinner there but wanted to say we have had breakfast there and will be going back :)

I voted for Dinner, but my vote probably shouldn't count because I've never been for either!

My reasoning has nothing to do with the food or character interaction - I'm sure its fine during either meal. But, if you go to CP for breakfast, you are missing some of the less crowded times to take in the attractions since not all the people arrive at the park early.

We like to go around 4-5pm for dinner for a much need break- by the time dinner is done, we are ready to hit the parks again. Since we stay at the BWV is easier to chill in the park then to go back to the villas for a break.

Just for your information, I just added up our bills, and it was:
breakfast---- $85.46
dinner------- $121.90

That is for a family of 3 adults and one child.

Breakfast buffet is $19/adult and $11/child
Dinner buffet is $28/adult and $13/child

Just in case you are not on free dining, that might help in your decision making!
