Back in '01 we had lunch at crystal palace. It was good, we had fun. This year in November I have lunch scheduled for Crystal Palace but I've found a place in our schedule that dinner fits in even better.

I've looked at allearsnet and there doesn't seem to be much difference between the lunch and dinner offerings. Anyone know from personal experience?

I don't know why but I always think of it as a lunch place. I think it's because it's so bright and light , you know? With all the light from the windows streaming in that I just enjoy it more in the daytime.

The windows and openess are wonderful, lunch or dinner. There is a carving station for dinner, shrimp and less cold cut type sandwich foods as opposed to lunch. Desserts are more elaborate than what I consider the picnic type served at lunch.

I have to say that the best meal we had at Disney was the Crystal Palace. We had reservations at 7:30pm, and was able to enjoy excellent selections consisting of: prime rib, turkey, salmon (best I have ever had), chicken, all kinds of sides. But I was impressed by the extremly large bowl of Tira Misu (that Italian dessert that is a creamy cake with coffee sprinkled on top). My 10 year old didn't even eat from the children's selection. He ate the prime rib with red wine sauce. Plus, when we finished, we had excellent seats for the FireWorks!! I have not eaten here for lunch. We like the Land at Epcot for lunch.

I've eaten there for breakfast and for dinner and I have to say that it is a toss up! I think the breakfast is great and tasty and I felt the quality of the dinner items was higher than I expected. I would definately eat there again for din-din no doubt.

I like dinner...just have a big breakfast and skip lunch...you'll be all set

We have eaten both lunch and dinner there. Lunch was fine, but since we are usually touring the park, and want to be out of there by the time it gets crowded (we go during the holiday), we just don't like to spend the time/money to stop what we are doing to eat at Crystal Palace or anything sit-down place for that matter. For us, a bag of popcorn, or the hotdog vendors, or fast food serve the purpose fine. It is quick, cheaper, easier.

Our preference is to go to the CP for dinner after our afternoon swim break. We'll usually freshen up before heading to the MK. We usually take in Spectromagic, or the park/fireworks at night.
