We are going to be eating at the CP for the first time this fall. We have an early (8:05) reservation for breakfast. The park opens at 9. How do they go about letting in people with reservations??

There is an entrance off to the side that you will be able to go up to and give them your reservation details. They will take you on into the park.

And depending on who is at that turnstile, they may not even ask for your reservation info! We've done the early ADR many times and 3x they never even asked us what restaurant we were going to or our ADR time. They were too busy chatting or what appeared to be texting...

We're hoping to get in, have a nice breakfast/meet the characters, and be done by 9 at opening....is that realistic? I'm thinking as long as we get seated right away, we have a good shot at it!

With an 8:05 it should be no problem! We love CP breakfast, and the characters are a lot of fun.

It helps if you ask for the bill early so you don't have to wait for it as others who came in around the same time are trying to settle their bills at the same time.

You may also have to skip a character if you want to be out before 9. I've had times when I've seen all 4 relatively quick but I think more times when I've either skipped a character or it's taken more than an hour to see al of them.
