Beth: Thanks for posting in my journal. I would never be brave enough to walk into the kitchen for my drinks/food/etc. I wish I could become more vocal when I'm not satisfied with customer service, etc.
Exercise: Oh boy the Firm Body Sculpt with Jenn totally kicked my butt this morning. I can do the Cardio Sculpt & other cardio type exercises fairly easily now but this workout was tough.
Food: I strayed a bit today. We went to a birthday party & I had lumpia (Filipino egg rolls) and part of DD's piece of chocolate cake. Then I had a little macaroni salad. I've been trying to stay away from refined carbs and I've been doing good about it up to now. I just had to right it down in my journal so I can read it and won't continually slip up. Heck, there's nothing wrong with slipping up occasionally but I don't want to make a habit of it. Oh my. I almost forgot about the little snack sized twix caramel bar that I had.
Other Stuff: I didn't do laundry yesterday so I did 4 loads today. My biggest problem about laundry is I hate putting it away. Right now everythings sorted in little stacks and everyone has to put away their own clothes. DD's too young (she's 2 1/2) so I have to put her clothes away.
DH hurt his back trying to dry his feet after he took a shower. I think it was a combination of things...he went to the gym with me yesterday & did weights, then he played basketball with DS in his slippers (flip flops) instead of shoes, then I had him lift two 50 pound bags of sand. Anyway....his back is aching now.
DS started his summer league basketball today. He looked really good and even made 4 points. Most of the better players are the 9 year olds and he was keeping up with them and making plays even though he'll be 8 next month. At this level, one year can really make a difference with the boys' sizes & experience. Tomorrow he starts basketball camp so he'll be busy with that for the next 2 weeks instead of having his grandpa watch him. I'm so fortunate to have my in-laws watch my kids as much as they do. My mom lives in Hawaii so she only gets to see the kids 2-3 times a year. She visited us in May and won't get to see them again until we visit her in December. She'll be retiring in December so I'm sure she'll be able to visit more often.
That's a wrap for Sunday.
