Cruising with a 9 month old..

My son would get motion sick in the car so we also bought motionease for the cruises. It's a combination of essential oils used to prevent motion sickness. You just put it behind their ears.

Never heard of motionease, but just looked it up. So I will be picking some of this up for the baby and just in case for my son-in-law. Heck it works in less than 5 minutes, thats awesome. Plus, it says it is good for roller coaster, I need this every time my family wants me to ride roller coasters on a hot day.

Here is a Navigator from the 4 day Dream on 5/12. It is the @SEA day and has the diaper dash in the morning. It is in the Lobby Atrium, deck 3 midship

Thanks for posting the navigator. I guess or past few cruises, I just never paid attention. Will have to put my grandson in this! Does the winner get anything?

The winning baby gets a Jack Jack bib if IIRC.

My son got a Mickey bib for participating. He was an awesome crawler but was always overwhelmed by the crowd and noise and wouldn't actually crawl during the race. I think during our week long cruise, they had that race twice.

Just back from the 4 night Disney Dream last week.. our 7 month old daughter competed in the Diaper Dash. It is in the main atrium where you first come onto the ship (we called it the room with the big chandelier) No one got bibs. They all got a sticker on their back with their 'race number' on it. The winner got a plastic 'medal' that was Mickey head shaped with the disney cruise logo on it.

There were 4 babies total. They raced 2 babies, and then 2 babies. Then they put the winner of each race against each other. Our daughter won her first race. It was so cute, in the beginning she took off, then wasn't sure what to do when the crowd started cheering, so she crawled over to the other baby! The final race was close, but our daughter got distracted at the end. She was the youngest (7mo) and the tiniest (13lb), and she did great!! A teenage boy came up to her afterward and said "I was cheering for you! You are so precious!"
