Cruising, Wining, and Disney Dining - Two 2012 PTRs in One! **TR LINK UP**

:woohoo: That must feel wonderful to have the trip paid off!! Since mine is not a package I will be paying as I go once I get there but I have ALMOST enough in Disney GC's to cover what I THINK it will cost.

I am planning to use our Disney Visa Rewards for the F&W booths. I have about $450 in rewards right now!

We don't really have a package since we're renting DVC points so we tackled one thing at a time. The DDP was the last thing we had to pay for! :)

Wow $450? I have about 45 cents LOL.

I love boy bands! But you knew that...I would've loved to see 98 Degrees. OH MAN. How wonderful. I hope they continue doing it enough so I can go one day. Still gotta get a real one of those job things...:confused3
I can't wait to hear about your water park day. I love water parks. I have been dying to go to one of Disney's but I'm waiting until Landon is older still. I'm sure he would still enjoy it if we went now, but I wouldn't as much because I'd be more stressed. So I shall live vicariously through you. As usual. :rotfl:

Yes I knew that LOL. Make plans to come to MixTape festival next year. How long will it take you to drive from CO to Hershey, PA? ;) Road trip!

I never take cameras to waterparks but I'll try just for you!

I had no idea the water was heated! That's awesome!!! :thumbsup2

Also, yay for your trip being paid off!!! :dance3: :woohoo:

Yep I believe it's around 82 degrees so it's very comofortable. No worries about being chilly!

Congrats on paying it all off!! THAT'S AMAZING! What an awesome feeling. I don't have the banana either. :confused3

Oh he's back!

Hi all! When I came home from work Monday night I had a mailbox full of Mickey Mail! We got our Magical Express packet (we won't be using it but it was nice to see anyway!), my Disney Visa cardmember handbook, and a $50 Disney GC from Chase for signing up for the Disney Visa. I'm also happy my dancing banana is back!

I've been doing a bit of shopping lately so I thought I'd share my purchases with you. :)

I wanted a pair of dressier sandals to go with my sundresses. All I own are flip flops! I found this pair on sale through Loft's website so I bought them. The color in the picture is incorrect. I bought the rose color so they're lighter and more neutral.

I originally wanted slip on sneakers (think like the Skechers bikers) to wear in the parks but couldn't any for a decent price. Since they'd just be primarily for vacation, I didn't want to spend much. I found these on Payless.com for $10!

I remember when Airwalks used to cost at LEAST $50! Now they're sold at Payless. Okey doke.

I also bought this wristlet. It's big enough to hold my camera, lipgloss, and money which is perfect when we go out to dinner & I don't wanna bring my VB bag. It was also $10!

That's all for now! I have a $25 Old Navy gift card burning a hole in my pocket so I'm sure I'll be posting more purchase pictures soon. :)

32 days to go!!

Yay for Mickey Mail!!! :cool1:

I also remember when Airwalks were that price...I actually had some then, and really liked them. :thumbsup2

Now that he's back...I feel it's time for a banana celebration...

And one more for 32 days!

Cute shoes!! I love Payless...so many options there now. I have a coupon I think and Madison could use some nice "dressy" shoes for school. I need to get going on that!

Gotta love Mickey Mail!

I had a pair of Airwalks too. And Vans. I think Vans are still pricey but I can't get over that Airwalks are in payless now!

Down to 30 days! :)

After I ordered them, they sent me a coupon for 15% off. Might check them out again before we leave!

Love those sandals, they are adorable! I had the same problem finding footwear that went with my sundresses, but I ended up being fine with my choices. Hopefully they are as comfortable for you as they are cute! Good call on the wristlet, although I just make DH carry my stuff when I'm not taking a bag & don't have pockets. :lmao:

The sandals arrived in the mail yesterday. They are so cute and they fit pretty well. The straps on the side are a little tight but I'll probably only be wearing them some nights when we're at dinner so no biggie. Kris is the opposite. Since I always have a bag, he makes me carry his things LOL. I usually tuck lip gloss and a small brush in there too so I don't wanna make him hang on to everything and annoy him when I keep asking for things.

Hello everyone!

Work has been super slow this week. It's the end of our busy season and nearly everyone is already on vacation sans a few people who come in for last minute things. So I have lots of free time on my hands. Remember that Old Navy gift card that was burning a whole in my pocket? Not anymore! I ordered a couple things from them today. While at work. :rolleyes1 Don't tell my boss k?

Both of the tops were on sale and I found a code for an extra 30% off so I was able to get both for $14. The GC was for $25 so I still have a bit leftover. :)

Since it's the end of the month, I cashed out on my survey sites. I ended up making $82 this month! I put it in my Disney spending money fund which is getting close to $800. My goal is $1000 so I'm getting close. I would already be there if it weren't for a $400+ medical bill earlier this year that had to come out of my fund. :headache: Since joining these sites last year I've made about $300 in cash and $175 worth of Disney gift cards. Awesome!

What else do I have to do before the trip? I need a haircut definitely. It's a couple inches past shoulder length right now which is too long for the Florida heat. I want to cut it to a little longer than chin length. Maybe get an angled bob. I've had it cut that way before and I loved it. I also want to go to Harmon and look through their travel size stuff. I have to look at what I already have so I know what to buy. Oh and has anybody ever used Sally Hansen Salon Effects? They're nail polish but go on like stickers and you just file off the excess. They're fabulous especially if you're like me and have no patience to wait for your nails to dry. Anyway, I bought two off ebay for $6 (they're usually $10 apiece) in zebra and leopard print. Zebra on my toes and leopard on my nails; I think it's appropriate for AKL don't you? ;) I need to plan out my daily outfits too! I did that for our 2010 trip and it helped me not to overpack. I knew exactly what I'd be wearing everyday. I'll post pictures on here for each day when I decide. I have to get on that.

I'll have another update for you tomorrow about the daily plans. I'm working tomorrow and I expect it to be slooooow. Then I'm off Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I'm excited because I haven't had two days off in a row in months.

See you all tomorrow! :) 30 days to go!

I have used those Sally Hanson nail things and I love them. I wish they would last longer though is all. Sally lasts longer than ones from Sephora though.

So crazy how much you have made! That is so awesome! I really need to start doing those surveys!

I LOVE the tank tops. Especially the sparkly one!! And awesome you still have GC funds left for more!!!

Cute shirts! I need to make a mall run today and hopefully I can get out of there without spending too much!

Have you tried putting top coat over them? It helps them last longer. My sister uses them and they last like 3 weeks on her! I double up on them too to prevent chipping.

The survey sites definitely helped!

The shoes and the tank tops are cute!! Makes me want to go shopping!! :rotfl2:

I've done a lot of shopping for this trip. I have no idea what to bring with me cause I have so many tops now!

I LOVE the tank tops. Especially the sparkly one!! And awesome you still have GC funds left for more!!!

I thought the sparkly one was so cute! I kept eyeing it every time I went to Old Navy and when I saw it on sale, I finally bought it.

Cute shirts! I need to make a mall run today and hopefully I can get out of there without spending too much!

Good luck! ;) I feel another shopping post coming on...

Hello again! We're in the 20s people! I can officially say we're going to Disney World this month. 29 days to go! 4 weeks from tomorrow!

Time for a daily update!

Day 5 - 10/4

Today is Animal Kingdom day! We have an ADR at Tusker House at 10:05. I'd like to get there for park opening so we can squeeze in a ride first. Maybe Everest or at least grab an FP for the safari. We never spend much time at AK so I doubt we'll stay here very long. If it were up to Kris, we wouldn't be going here at all but I can't go to Disney & skip any of the parks ya know? I know we'll do all the major rides: EE (hopefully more than once), KS, Dinosaur, Bug's Life. We'll probably walk the Pangani and Maharajah trails too. I'd like to see Festival of the Lion King too if we can find a showtime that works for us. Other than that, there's not much else at AK we do. The Nemo show is cute but you have to get there super early to make it in and Rafiki's Planet Watch isn't even worth visiting IMO. I'm guessing we'll be done with AK around 3 or 4. It always seems to coincide with the parade and we end up weaving our way out of the stores to get toward the front of the park. Worst parade route EVER.

We have an ADR at Via Napoli for 7:45 so I'm not sure if we'll go back to AKL first or go straight to Epcot. I guess it depends on how we feel. I'm excited to eat at Via Napoli. I've heard nothing but good things about the place. Has anyone ever been there? What's your favorite thing on the menu? Should I get pizza or pasta?

After dinner we'll make our way back to AKL for the night and that does it for day 5!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Can you believe it's September already??

I know a lot of people don't care for AK, but I think it's just absolutely beautiful! I wish they still did EMH at night because it's even more gorgeous once the sun goes down.

Anyways....we love FOTLK but we'd like to see Nemo again. Haven't seen it since 2009 and I think Cole would love it. At least with 4 of us, Maddie and Tony could stand in line while I park the stroller and walk around with Cole. We've never seen the parade either and I'd like to give it a go.

Via Napoli is amazing!!! We got the margherita pizza and I highly recommend it (tomoto, basil and mozzarella). The pizza is the big draw so you should really try it. The large pizza was more than enough for the 3 of us 2 years ago. They have personal size pizza too.

I have not put a top coat over it. I'm too lazy. :lmao: I'm sure next time I will though. I love them! I had houndstooth ones once and that was awesome. Then I've done a sparkly damask pattern. The animal prints are PERFECT for AK though. I might just steal your idea one day! :thumbsup2

I understand how you feel about AK. I do love it though, sometimes it's just hard to fill up the day with it. I don't think I've ever stayed a full day. Last year, we only went once and didn't even stay long because it was so crazy and just not worth it. :hyper: I'm glad you do have time to squeeze it in.

And Via Napoli. YAY!! I love it. Get the sangria. Not a glass, silly. Get a pitcher. ::yes:: Get some pizza. I usually stick with pepperoni. And for some reasons I never think to try it, but get the Zeppoles or whatever for dessert.

YAY FOR GOING TO DISNEY THIS MONTH!!! I'm so happy for you!! Be sure to send me lots of pictures!!

:dance3::banana::woohoo::yay::dance3::banana: :woohoo: :yay:

Your AK day sounds good. I want to catch both shows this time. My hubby is an animal lover so we will head to Rafiki's Planet Watch so we can watch the goats and whatever other animals are out there.

I loved Via Napoli! I had the 4 cheese white pizza and it was ahhhhhmaaazingggg! Never had the pasta there, but everything sounds good from their menu so I don't think you can go wrong with a meal there. :thumbsup2

I've been MIA lately, but I am all caught up...
Loved the pics of that concert...not a fan of the boy bands usually, but I do like The Wanted...and LLCoolJ...CLASSIC!! Looks like you guys had a blast!

Cute shoes! And those tanks are great too...really like the stripes! Very prepster!

Your daily plans are lookin' great! I agree with AK, we were going to spend the day there originally, but we decided a half day would cover it.

Can't believe you are going THIS MONTH!!!!:cool1::banana::yay::dance3:

I love that sparkly top from Old Navy-- very cute! We're the same way about AK-- we can only fill up a few hours there.
Never been to Via Napoli but I definitely want to try it our next trip-- it looks sooo good! I'd definitely try the pizza!
Eeek, I can't believe it's September. Soon enough it'll be the holiday season! :scared1:
