Thanks! Our tour guide mentioned Brave a lot. They think it's going to boost tourism a bit for Scotland. I can't wait to see it! I never miss a Pixar movie :)

I know! I saw that. I was like 'Ooooh, Scotland Disney style!" :rotfl: I really want to go back. My sister wants to go to Ireland and I said I'd go if we could fit London in. We're thinking of going next year and I told her it's up to her if she wants to see Scotland too. CIE offers a tour that goes to all three!

Very nice, the countryside looks beautiful! I'm also excited for Brave but will prob just buy it on blu ray when it comes out.

Sad, but what caught me the most was that you went to a CD store and BOUGHT a CD. Wow! LOL haven't done that in forever, but that's awesome that you found a fun band while touring Scotland.

It's so beautiful! I absolutely loved Scotland and I want to go back.

LOL it was just Walmart. I figured since I was there, I might as well. It was only $10. I immediately put it on my computer & my phone and the cd is only used in the car. :rotfl: I can't remember the last time I bought a CD. Possibly in 2008 when NKOTB reuinited?

Wow, that scenery is gorgeous! Great pictures! Yay for your cruise!!

So excited the cruise is so close!

Hahah too funny. I don't even know where my CDs are. Just listen to my ipod in the car, so don't even need them there. BUT I do sorta feel bad about it. My last hold out is real books - even though I have a Kindle, I still like to actually own the books I read. CDs have gone to the wayside though. :sad2: DVDs have even gone unless they are something I just HAVE to have. Like every Disney (& Pixar) movie...:rolleyes1

I'm with you on real books over the Kindle. I still buy books and the ones I don't buy, I get from the library. I have the Kindle app on my phone but rarely use it. DVDs I usually don't buy for myself but I still get them as gifts. I'm sure I will be buying the Hunger Games. That is something I have to have!

Hi guys!

I had the day off yesterday and guess what was waiting for me when I got into the office this morning...

Our 7 day base tickets! I told Kris I get Mickey and he gets Goofy. My comp ticket request for the hopper & water park passes was approved last week too. I'll pick those up when we get to Disney. I'll be purchasing our MNSSHP tickets after the cruise (which is in 22 days!). I'm going to have 3 sets of tickets to keep track of. Hope I can manage. Everything is starting to come together! The only thing we have left to pay off is the dining plan and we're about halfway there with that.

I heard through the October FB group that the Haunted Carriage rides at Fort Wilderness aren't going to happen this year. Is Disney just trying to ruin my birthday plans? First BoG won't open on time. Now this. So I've changed it up yet again. I've switched our ADR from WCC to Raglan Road for my birthday dinner. We're going to have dinner at 6:45 and then hang around awhile for the live entertainment. I also would like to check out Paradiso 37 too. I've heard they have great margaritas! I hardly ever get to DTD during my trips and now we'll have two nights worth of it. :) The next night we have an ADR for T-Rex and then I was thinking of checking out Splitsville if that's open by then. It sounds fun!

129 days to go!

PS - Kylie, has Callahan guaranteed Game 6 for us yet? ;)

I've been MIA for a little while since we had switched our trip to November, but then I found out I'm pregnant and so we moved it back up to October so I won't be as far along. I've just caught up on your TR, Scotland looks gorgeous. We ate at Raglan Road on our honeymoon and loved it.

I didn't even know there was a FB group, how do I join?

Absolutely loving the Scotland pics!! Kinda funny but kinda scary too about the Campbell/Macdonald thing. Good thing my name is nowhere near Scottish, so I shouldn't have an trouble with rival clans if & when I am ever able to visit. :rotfl:

Yay for Disney tickets! I'm wondering if one night me & DH might be able to try Splitsville at DTD too since we will have grandparents with us this time. It sounds like a lot of fun!

I've heard nothing but great things about Raglan Road. I'm excited to go there! :)

Yes, there is a facebook group. If you want, PM me your email address and I'll look you up, friend you, and send you the invite to join.

:rotfl: That's exactly how I felt. I'm not Scottish so I'm good here right?

I'm hoping Splitsville will be open when we're there. All it says for an opening date is Fall 2012. Disney loves to be vague!

I'm hoping Splitsville is open too!! Not sure when I will fit it in but I will try if its open!! Love Bowling!!

Hey girl! Loving your updates! I'm excited you got your tickets in!:) Your cruise is getting closer and closer!! So exciting! I am to the point where I'm getting overwhelmed with replanning my trip, but I know we'll get there! haha :)

I hope you are having a great weekend!

I hope you are having a great weekend!

I can't believe the cruise is only 17 days away! That's so crazy to me. I booked it last April, as in 2011 and it's here! Time flies. I'm shocked Disney World is only 4 months away.

You'll get everything re-planned, don't worry. It'll work out.

Thanks! My weekend was great. Hope you had a good one too!

Ummm... just cause I LOVe bowling doesn't mean I am any good!! LOL!!

Don't worry, neither am I! We can compete for the bottom! :rotfl:

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was good although working on Saturday put a damper on things! My weekend was pretty low-key. Kris & I spent most of Sunday shopping. He lost 25 pounds and needed new clothes for the summer so we hit up Old Navy and Gap. He got quite a few things, some specifically for our cruise (which is 17 days away!) and I picked up a couple things as well. Monday was spent at Mad Hatters & Donovans, two beach bars. Donovans is a Memorial Day tradition. It's right on the water and they always have live music. It's a very relaxed vibe and we love it!

Here is what I bought from ON & Gap:

cn4375611.jpg

It was $2! Can't beat that.

On clearance for $7.50! Very Ohana-ish ;)

I also got a ribbed fitted tank for $4. It's striped pink & purple. I usually only wear those kind of tops to bed (I have 5 of them!) but I loved the colors so I caved & bought it.

All the tops are from Old Navy. From the Gap I found a pair of flats on sale for $24 with an additional 30% off so they came out to be $17. They're black with silver stitching around the top & black bows on the back. Super cute and comfy. I needed new black flats for work; my old ones were falling apart!

Disney World is 4 months from tomorrow! FOUR MONTHS! Can you believe it? Time is flying!

On a completely different topic, does anyone know where I can find Margaritaville Lime tequila? I've been to several liquor stores and cannot find it anywhere. We want to take it with us on the cruise to make loaded Coronas! We had loaded landsharks at Margaritaville with this particular tequila and they were amazing!

Scotland post coming next :)

When I last left off, we were leaving Glencoe and heading to Loch Ness for our cruise on the lake..or loch as the Scottish say. The cruise left from Fort Augustus, a town at the southwest end of Loch Ness. Upon arriving, we had a few minutes to snap some pictures around the town as we walked from our bus to the departure point.

Kelli and I opted to sit inside since it was cold & rainy...what else is new?? The boat had a voiceover that pointed out landmarks & told us the story of Nessie and we also had guides that explained how deep the loch was & how sonar equipment is used in locating the monster. He showed us printouts of unidentified masses in the Loch...big enough to be Nessie! Multiple Nessies in fact! He also told us the loch is filled with man-eating...trout. Yup, trout. :rotfl: I don't know if I actually believe that but I guess if you believe Nessie is down there, anything is possible!

I think I found her!

Legend has it this was formed when Nessie tried to climb out of the loch. It was too steep for her and she slid back into the water.

Loch Ness was awesome! It's incredible how big & deep it is. We only went a few miles into the loch and it looks like it stretches on forever. I've always wanted to go there and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to do so. That was a big selling point in me applying for the trip. :)

After our cruise, we were able to shop for a bit before we had to board our bus. I loaded up on Nessie stuff! I bought tshirts for myself & Kris, snow globes for my mom & grandma, a stuffed Nessie that says Drunken-ness for my sister, and a towel that when wrapped around your waste looks like a kilt for Kris. I have yet to see him use it!

We got back on the bus and left for our final stop of the day, Nairn, where we would be staying overnight. A couple photo ops along the way:

There she is again!
