You all look so happy! I love the tour of the ship! I wish I could pull off a trip like this and surprise Claire. I have a big mouth..I couldn;t even keep the secret of where we are staying our first night before we head over towards the port (AKL). I accidently said it right in front of her with out a thought.

Scared of boat? You ever see her boating pics?

Ok, apparently that wasn't even a concern.

Juliana was in mac & cheese heaven...

I'm sure they didn't have many other options on the buffet.

while I was enjoying mine in my DCL glass mug.

They had these stations set up where you could buy a DCL refillable mug, beers, and bottled water in bulk that they would deliver to your stateroom.

And all priced for captive buyers.

Some paintings onboard...

I wouldn't mind having 1 or 2 of those hanging on a wall at home.

LOVE the pics of Juliana on the boat and the video of her dancing. We put Meadow on a boat for the first time a few weeks ago. I about had a heart attack. I AM TERRIFIED of boats to the point that I literally cried out of fear the first time I took the Disney ferry boat Im cool with those now. Jack really wants to take a Disney cruise so I'm going to keep reading cruise TR and hopefully get over it.

Soon she will be complaining he is in the shower when she needs it (like I am right now, darn brother took over the bathroom 40 minutes ago, he is worse than a girl). Tim, please forgive me for missing two updates (we've been dealing with hospice where we are moving my MIL next week and stopping treatments).

I cried when I saw the video of Ana...I know how "special" this trip was for her and you and Mel. How sweet that Ana was worried about Baby Christopher.

Great shots on the ship and love the picture with Minnie.

Lunch looks yummy and making my tummy grumble...or maybe that is because I've not eaten since 11 this morning?

Love the pictures as you toured the ship and Ana is certainly comfortable and having a grand time.

I'd start now but I have a list of chores to do while Christopher is sleeping. We are having his 1st birthday party here in a few weeks. I have to finish painting the deck today in this 95° heat. UGH!

Too funny she is worried about Christopher. And the question about the shower at the hotel you were supposed to stay at.............do you normally frequent places that only have an outhouse for a bathroom???

I would do the 5 day or possibly the 8 day like you did. How was your cruise BTW?

You can move the dates as much as you'd like! So if 2014 still isn't feeling right when those dates are opened, we can easily move it again.

Our cruise was AWESOME. We had such a great time, I can't wait to start reliving it after I have my Disneyland one done! 4 sea days were fantastic.

Dawn I had no idea you were scared of boats! I am scared of little speed boats, but big ones don't phase me. I've never taken the little boats at WDW between the GF/Poly/CR - I think those might scare me...!

We could feel the boat moving during our first couple nights of our cruise, but some days we couldn't feel it at all, you almost forgot you were on a ship.

I honestly didn't do much research on DCL. I didn't read reviews, TRs, or even look at pictures. I wanted to be surprised.

The ship looks awesome! I love all the artwork that Disney puts around their boats.

I liked the pictures on the stairs. Some of them were classics.

I have read your updates the last two days before leaving or work. I loved the video. That little squeal - so cute!

The boat really does look awesome and seeing NYC as the backdrop is pretty cool.

I really hope they decide to come back to NYC in 2014.

Can't wait to hear all about the actual cruise.

How long can I draw out a 2 day cruise?

We barely felt any rocking on the cruise, although the seas were basically flat. We have been on a few cruises and there are times you can feel the movement. I think that is why they serve so much alcohol on cruises!

I let Juliana drive the boat in the no-wake zones. She is getting the hang of it and it getting pretty good!

The paintings were awesome! I wanted to buy one but they were over $1000!

I just found that the DOTD was really watered down and very expensive.

I have no idea where she came up with that idea about the bathroom. Maybe because it is hard to find a bathroom in the city?

She is getting bigger! Pretty soon she will pass Melody. (OK, not that soon but you know what I mean. )
