We're down under a month now. YIPPEEE!! Can you believe 29 days 6 hours and 50 something minutes until our sailaway party. Is everyone but me organized and packed?

I have not started packing at all! All we have done so far is bought new tennis shoes for the whole family. I will not pack until the night before we leave. I will finish packing just before we walk out the door to leave for the airport. I pick my wedding dress up on the 11th (getting married on Castaway Cay) and I will get that ready to go right away, but everything else will wait until the 26th.

That is so wonderful - married on a cruise on a beautiful Island. Should be perfect...

You are so lucky Jenny- what a beautiful place and what memories you will have!
I haven't started to pack yet and actually I am pretty unorganized- or at least that is how I feel! My DD has camp next week- so it will be the week after that I start the chore of packing.

I have gotten film, the dogs ressies for boarding, and flip flops! That is about it- seriously. I guess I need to get to it. See some of you at the Radission on Friday evening- the rest I will see on the ship- look forward to it:bounce:

I have everything folded, ready to pack. DS10 is the only one I have to shop for. I bought new toothbrushes and travel size mouthwash yesterday!!! See how nice I am to you guys? Now I just have to find travel size deodorant!!!

Yes , but did you pack your straw hat and white gloves for high tea? :D

I have to say that we are still in the "do I need this mode?". I've mentally packed everything and have begun filling boxes with all the little things such as extension cords etc.. Of course I have a feeling that we will feel just a tad odd trying to wear an over the door shoe holder to formal night so I better get at least one or two outfits into the suitcases. :p

I'm practicing my casual elegant stare so that I'll look like I do this sort of thing (High Tea) every day. However, when I pour the tea into the saucer to cool it off, someone might suspect that I'm not quite the High Tea type!

Can't wait..

thedisneymom- I'm having trouble finding the gloves in elbow length. How do you eat dessert without getting it on your gloves ( I eat with my fingers, both hands at once ). ? Stewblue - do polite folk like yourself pour the tea back into the cup when it cools or just slurp it right out of the saucer?

We may get kicked out of Palo. That'll just be added to that long list of places I've been kicked out of! Will I need to leave my teeth in for Choc. souffle?

I'm still laughing from reading your posts. The high tea servers don't know what they are in for. This is one great Dis'er crowd. Camera a must.
I have decided that I am too tired to care what to pack. So its going to be throw it in- ironing-packing marathon that week. All will be well anyway. I overplanned and overpacked last year. It is so relaxed on board. Clothes are not an issue but good planning with the navigators are. ;)

I printed out the new navigators from Dave's site last night. My luck all will change before we get there. Before I mess them up I was trying to figure out who got what color for activities to highlight. Maybe it would be easier to highlight what we are not interested in doing!

Ah... Print out the navigators then mark them as opposed to using the highlighter on the monitor screen. I knew there was something I just wasn't quite getting. I think that trying to practice folding tea has left me slightly warped.

Today while doing laundry I started trying to figure out how many suitecases I could bring so I could handle no laundry for 11 days (travel to cruise days / cruise days / travel from cruise days).

Let's see, if my husbands clothes go into the pillow case and serve a double purpose of being a pillow and flexible suitecase I can have the 2 we alloted for him. I think that will work!

Dear Stewblue: You really do need this vacation. Lets calm down and try to be rational here. I'm sure when your husband sees your plan for him he'll offer to do the laundry on board. You might try windex on that screen.:p

I printed out the family navigators and the ones from the teen club. (you can also do the kids). Then we decided on which activities everyone thought they might do. I combined the list and labeled the adults only. Now I'll probably forget to pack it or they will change the navigator. It is the one thing that will help my family. We are total activity addicts. You will see these loud annoying New Yorkers at all of the trivia games etc.

By the way -Can I get away with my daughter's gloves from her first communion? Only if I cut out the fingertips. What's that I hear Stewblue screaming! 12 and 6 I must remember! :p

First time Disney cruiser and first time I've ever posted anything on a board. Hope this works!

Add us to the list of 6/28 Magic cruisers. Coming with 4 kids, 8-8-6-3. Adjoining cabins on deck 1 (all I could get and be connected).

I feel like I'm going to need running shoes when I get on board so I can get the spa reservations done!

Welcome to our slightly wacky bunch. Just to note, aside from our slight obsession with tea we are quite harmless. :p

Regardless of the cabin type or location, I'm sure your trip will be magical. Glad to hear about more kids my nieces ages! Does the double 8's mean you have twins?

Yes -- 8 year olds are boy/girl, 6 yr boy, 3 yr old boy. And oh boy, is this going to be crazy.

Thanks for the welcome -- wacky is a good thing! I've got a few old and ugly0 bridesmaid dresses that I guess could come in handy. Will all that taffeta fit down the hallways?

Bridesmaid dresses are perfect! I was going to wear my hoop skirt but since my hips can now substitute for anything that Scarlett ever thought of wearing, there is no need. I'm just hoping I can get them down the corridors.

For formal night, my daughter and her friend are wearing their high-school prom dresses; the little girls have disney princess costumes and my husband is wearing a tux!!! We are so excited over this vacation that we can hardly wait.

Welcome to our group! Join all of us at the sailaway party on deck 10 port side overlooking the goofy pool. We have quite a large group coming. Let us introduce ourselves again. I'm thedisneymom 46, DH46, DD14, And DS20. Look for us in our white matching Disney shirts. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Come on gals list your travel companions please for our new friend. :D

Hi Amy. Welcome. I don't know why Stewblue would classify me as harmless. I could be dangerous if someone gets too close to the dessert buffet!!! Anyway, I'm traveling with DH46 (the day before we cruise), me 36, DS10, and DD4. I'm so glad we'll be a large bunch of Dis'ers. Its really growing! For months it was just me and Stewblue. Are you staying at the Radisson before the cruise?
