Cruising in 2006..when can you reserve

Never been on a cruise. Gonna try and do a sept 06 cruise. Pts needs is 135 pp (Deluxe Stateroom with Navigator's Verandah)(2 people, 4 day cruise). We have 150 pts, use year is mar 05. Have already scheduled 55 pts at ssr for sept 05. I will bank the remaining 95 points later this month...making a total pt for mar 06 of 245. Now the question, when can I borrow pts from 07 for a trip in 06. Sorry if this looks complicated, just think how i feel

A September, 2006 cruise will fall in your March, 2006 Use Year (3/01/06 - 2/28/07). If you bank the 95 points from 3/05, you will have access to those points plus the 150 you will get on March 1, 2006 and you can also borrow up to 150 from your March, 2007 Use Year. That cruise may be booked thru MS in October, 2005 and you will have access to all of those points at that time for the September, 2006 date.
