Our guest list has gone down to 10 so we are able to book one of the cruises, but I can't find the link to it to save my life. Do any of you remember which website provides that info? Thanks!

No problem! :thumbsup2

Thats what we are all here for!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Since we are on this subject I'd really like your opinion. Let me give you some back ground

Our wedding is at the WP at 10am and we have lunch at 12noon. We are all going to change out of our formal wear after this meal b/c none of us want to stay in them ALL day.

Only my family is attending so our guests are as follows:

My parents
My sister, her husband, and 2 children
My aunt and her boyfriend.

We are thinking of either doing a pontoon cruise OR paying for everyone's park admission and eating a meal in the MK, then watching the fireworks there.

OR we may ditch any more plans altogether, depart from our guests after lunch, and meet them again the next day for a farewell breakfast.

Could we be tiring our guests by taking them to yet another event? If we did another event which would work out better?

I'm just curious about your thoughts

I would DEFINATELY go with the cruise! :thumbsup2

That way you do not have to deal with park crowds and you get the effect of the fireworks, but in a more private setting. It would be more intimate with family and you wont have to be elbow to elbow with all the other park goers.

Just my .02

I think the cruise would be a better option--like Tink said, then it's a lot more private, and you can enjoy the fireworks with your family and your new husband! :-D Would you be doing a dinner aboard the boat?

I think that we'll just eat before hand. Either all of us meet at the marina before the cruise and eat on our own or all of us meet at a resort resturant. Not sure yet though. I'm going to talk with my sis and see if she can handle a full day's worth of activities with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr old.

I also think that a cruise is a great idea. Plus, since your wedding is early everyone can go back to their hotels and relax for a bit before the dinner and cruise.

Thanks ladies. I'll pass this one by the family since in the last newsletter I told them that we'd split from them after the wedding and see them again the next day at the farewell breakfast. I really hope they haven't made any additional plans for that day because it would be a really nice way to wrap things up.

I think it sounds great! I was toying with the idea of a cruise for some special guests, but can't narrow it down enough for the guest list! My one sister alone has 6 kids (through marriage). They make it difficult.....They're the whole reason an intimate is out of the question!!!

Wow, that would knock the intimate out ItGirl! :faint:

I called the recreation department, but it turns out that I have to wait until next week to book because it isn't 90 days yet.

On a positive note I am now officially in double digits. Just 99 days left until the wedding :cheer2:

Hi Sajetto,

I think the cruise will be perfect! I'm hoping to get the Grand 1 for Wishes on Jan 4th. If it doens't happen, it doesn't happen and I'll be just as happy with a pontoon boat, but DF and my dad think the Grand 1 is really "cool" so I'm biding my time until Friday which is 90 days out for me.

I saw wishes for the first time this past May (it was 10 years since I'd been to DW). I have to say it was the most fantastic thing I'd ever experienced. I literally felt like I was part of the festivities. I hope the music being piped in can create a similar effect.

Good luck with getting your cruise!!!!
