Cruise; when booking on points and cash

Are the cash prices for 3rd and 4th guest comparable to dcl's prices; cheaper or more expensive?
Or, a dollar value to the amount of points you need?

When we priced out a 2011 Mediterranean cruise paying cash for two adults and points for two kids, the price Member Services quoted for the adults was significantly more than the price shown on Disney Cruise website. I don't this if this is typical, or because the prices on the Med cruises fell after they were first released. But it is certainly worth knowing the price you'd pay through DCL before deciding to book through Member Services.
