Hi...........curiuos.....
Do you put your tips for the cruise staff in envelopes prior to actually cruising and then just store them in you cabin?
Seems like a sure way of making sure the money is untouched.

No reason why you couldn't , alot of people just charge them to their kttw and then put the receipts in the envelopes whatever works best for you.

we like to stuff the envelopes with cash and phone cards and hand them to the staff our selves. we like to let them know of the great job they have done.

We did; I put Disney stickers on the envelopes and put the cash inside and carried them in my purse on the way down. Once inside the room, I put them in the safe until the last night. It was great not worrying about tip money as it was all done.

A few weeks prior to cruising, I go to the bank and get cash for tips...In addition, I get $30.00 in singles for room service tips/Castaway Cay postage...I also store cash in my car ashtray for the luggage porters and parking at the port....we put the tip cash in separate envelopes and store in safe until last night, whereby I transfer to the tip envelopes the stateroom host gives...

I like this system better b/c it allows me to budget in advance...also, those who charge tips to account via Guest Service desk often have to wait on a long line, particularly toward the end of cruise...::yes::
