I know that John said this but I forget what is the better order, parks then cruise or the otherway around? Is it better so fly down the same day we cruise or leave a buffer day? We would be comming from nj. I am getting WAY ahead of myself here, I still have to figure out how to pay for our Sept trip to wdw this year!lol thanks for the info!

It is parks then cruise. Not only is the cruise relaxing after going full force in the parks, it is also very difficult to go from ordering whatever you would like to eat (as in as much quantity!) to paying for your food.

Are you planning on the podcast cruise? Only 576 days to go!

I say both! I got off the cruise, and am here at the Dolphin, and am so glad I have a couple of days before heading off for home.

I would agree with Mary Jo - especially if you have been to the parks enough that you don't feel like you missed something if you don't see everything in the parks, I would do something like two days before and two or three days after if I had the vacation time and money. The way I see it the cruise is so relaxing that I might need WDW as a gradual re-introduction to reality :rotfl2:

We will always do the parks first then the cruise.

It's to hard to go from the luxury of the cruise to the parks and resorts, while awesome they are no DCL ship and service :) Also, I really need a good 24 hours at home before I go back to work so that is another reason parks first

Thanks for the info all, this sounds like so much fun, I hope that I can pull it off!
