I'm back : ) We had a wonderful cruise in May, 2001 and will be cruising the Magic again May 31, 2003 (Gee, but who is counting) We booked directly through Disney again, but I was thinking of switching to DU for any rate drops. I am really busy these days and they are noted for their excellence in monitoring the rates. However, our cruise has been sold out for a couple of months and I am guessing there will be no discounts? Any benefits to switching, or should we just stay with DCL?

Thanks!!!
Linda

Hi Linda,
Even if there are no further discounts offered, you would still get the Dreams rebate that saves you money and costs you nothing. You would still get your Castaway Club onboard credit too.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Cathy,
Before I go to AAA to get info, I am really curious about this rebate. I already belong to the Castaway club since we have cruised once before, but I am unsure what the benefit is. Any info you can provide woud be great, since we are trying to decide between a trip to WDW and a cruise in the spring. Thanks in advance!

SraRaton:

How do you know that the cruise is sold out? Last I checked, it was not.

Also, how much is the DU rebate right now?

According to the DU reservation site, there are rooms available for the 5/31/03 Magic in all categories from 4 to 12 as of today (12/17/2002). Perhaps you meant that the suites are sold out?

If you go to the DCL site and try and pick May, it is not showing the May 31st cruise as available?????

Am I crazy?

Thanks!

Linda

OK OK - Never mind - they moved it to June, even though it starts in May.

I would not have normally looked for a May cruise in June - silly me:rolleyes:

YEP - they moved it to June. Don't know why... didn't think it was sold out.

Do you have any teens going? I have a DD - will have just turned 15 when we sail.

Nope - little ones - ages 8 and 6. Is this your first cruise or are you returning?

Will be our 3rd. First did 3-day then last May did 7-day Western. Loved it but hope we like the Eastern as much! I'm concerned with fewer and (seemingly) less exciting ports. Have you done the Eastern before?

It is just me (34), DH (31), & DD (14... 15 when we sail).

We are on deck 5 in a Cat 7-Navigators veranda.
