Is there a charge to use your points for the cruises
Also is there a way to get the airfare and tranfers with your package using ms
Do they have and cruise specials for points like they do with cash ie. fall fantasy packages
When using points do also get anything for also being a castaway club member.

That should be all for now this board is a life saver we are planning to buy from home and this board is pushing me over the edge!!!!

There is a $75 fee to use for points for the cruise, the same as if you trade out for other vacations. MS does have CM's that can arrange your airfare and transfers, those are on a cash basis, however. There is currently a special running for DVC members cruising on points for the Fall Fantasy Promotion. Details can be found on the DVC Members Only Page. The most current policy is to allow Castaway Club shipboard credits for returning DVC cruisers, however, be aware that they have changed this policy twice that I know of, so be sure to verify it at booking and keep a record of the MS rep who confirms it for you! Could someone please post what the current DVC special is on Cat. 4/5/6 for the seven day cruise?

We have a seven day booked through DU for July/02, but I'm thinking maybe I should use the money to buy into DVC. Then I could use points for the cruise.

The only problem is that I really want to buy at the Beach Club Villas. Decisions decisions!!

I believe it was 182 pts per adult for the family suite with veranda. For a family of 2 adults and 2 children(3-17) I think it was around 380 pts.

I "paid" 145 points per person for a cat 5 on the
November 10th sailing. I do not know what the
points for children would be, but 2 adults are
190 points. Anita.

Points for children are 53 each. We paid 114 for each adult for category 8--deluxe oceanview. We paid cash for one of our children since we have only 150 points per year (boo hoo!)

I'm now leaning toward canceling the July/02 cruise , buying into BCV (when available <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused"> ), then rebooking a future cruise with points.
