Not sure how the cruise meet's work can someone explain?

Not sure if you're asking about something in particular or just about this thread? We all just chat here so that we can get to know who we will be cruising with! There is a list going for those who are interested in participating in the FE group. We are also planning to meet up at 3pm on embarkation day at the Minnie statue in the atrium for a group picture.

Well, we are getting closer to the sail date........

We have 3 kids going, 2 girls 16 and 11 and a boy 14.

Ill PM you their names if you have kids that want to email them ahead of time, and get together with them on the ship.

We have a monitored email address they use just for this!

We fly into MCO on the evening of the 19th, and are staying at Country Inn and Suites before the cruise.

Just some quick updates for all the newbies - WELCOME!!

We have planned a group photo on day of embarkation in the Atrium Lobby by Minnie Mouse at 3pm, for all of those who what to join in.

The FE will be closing on March 15th, to allow time for everyone to prepare gifts.

So far in the FE we have 27 cabins (48 adults and 34 kids) IF we reach 30 cabins participating (and it looks very much like this will happen) I will divide our FE group into 2 smaller groups of about 15 cabins each (this is to help the pocketbooks).

We have no set FE "rules" you can gift per person, per cabin, per day or however you are comfortable with.

For NEWBIES interested in joining the FE please PM me or create a post with the following information, and I will get you signed up!

Can any one tell me how many tolls we will encounter from the airport to cruise terminal and how much they are?

Also any 8 or 9 year old years that would like to start chatting with Chloe before the cruise? If so PM me. Chloe with be with me the 1st weekend of March. She would love to meet someone before the cruise.

She is very thankful to Mikella Cinderella & looks forward to meeting her daughter.

We will definately be at the meeting for the group photo!

Finally made my reservations with budget. Renting a car Friday morning at MCO & returning at the port next day. Then renting Saturday morning at port & returning to MCO the evening. We fly home very early Sunday morning.

Just want to remind everyone to check out mousesavers.com I was able to find a code and saved $ on my rental. Hope this information is helpful.

My husband (Dr.Dave) and I are going to be on the Fantasy's maiden voyage to the Eastern Caribbean with you!

I might have done this backwards, because I posted on our private Facebok group first... Nice to meet you in advance!

It's our second wedding anniversary of our Disney wedding, so we are going to visit the parks a few days before the cruise.
DH is a private pilot, so we're interested to spend at least an hour watching the planes land over Maho beach in St. Maarten. (Bernard's tours might be the best bet?).
Have to cross that off the bucket list.

Ok so far we have booked the train from Buffalo to Kissimmee leaving on April 19th- We leave Buffalo early in the am and get to NYC around noon. We have a few hours there before we get our sleeper on the next train!

Then once we get to Kissimmee on the 20th I rented a car from Dollar for $42.00 with the sun pass and drop off in Cocoa Beach! (Still need hotel for that night - thinking of using priceline)

Morning of the cruise have segway tour booked in Cocoa beach at 8am then drop off the rental car and take the shuttle to the ship!

7 Glorious days on the Fantasy

After the cruise shuttle to Alamo where we rentend a car to drive back to Buffalo!

I just need a hotel for the day we arrive in Kissimmee and I'm also anxiously awaiting our 9D gty room assignment!

Anyone else GTY and still waiting for room assignments? Our cruise is on special now so I don't know what to expect? It used to be around the 45 day mark you would see the room assignments coming out.

Several people on this forum including ourselves are going with Bernards. It's seems like they are very highly rated both on this board and Trip Advisor.

We have made reservations at Palo for Sat night.

Tues. in St. Maarten, we r doing the St. M tour along with the Butterfly Farm in the morning and the rest of the day will be just messing around or hanging at the beach.

Wed. in St Thomas, the Castaway Catamaran Sail and Snorkel to Shipwreck Cove and again just bumming around hitting the beach.

Fri. Castaway Cay, just got the Extreme Getaway Package (all day) then in the afternoon Parasailing, whoohoo can't wait something new.

For those who have been on many DCL cruises...
Can u all tell me how to sign up for the little extra tours on the ship ie like martini, wine tastings, kitchen/culinary, towel/napkin folding or anything else.
Do we have to wait til we get on the ship?
When is the soonest we can get on the Fantasy?
Also, for those who cruise alone doesn't it cost more, I was told by other cruise lines that u would still have to pay for double accupancy (sp) don't have to answer here I was just curious.

I am having a girlfriends weekend getaway In Estes Park this weekend so I will be starting my FE's. Just curious as to everyone's favorite Disney Character?
