I added DCL transfers last week and was charged $127.47 so I must have had a credit pending in the system. I have received unexplained credits before, maybe a reduction in port fees or something like that.

I have a question for everyone, especially those have cruised DCL before. Have you purchased anything from the "Onboard Gifts & Amenities" to have sent to your room before you board? I am interested in sometimes although I wanted to see how the experience was for others who have done this before. If you have done this, what did you buy and how was it?

Morning gang, I'm Keith, wife is Tina and our son Josh (age 11). We are planning on going on this cruise thanks to the IRS....Don't hear that much these days. This is pending, we should get our refund on March 13 and if DCL still has their special price on, we will be there. IF you have not checked the DCL site, they are running a special on the GTY window cabins. A little background, This will be our 9th DCL cruise, 1st in 4 yrs....so we need this vacation. We always do the window cabins, so this was perfect for us. We were looking at the 5 day on the Dream over Spring Break, but this is cheaper, plus it's 7 days. Our first cruise was the 4 day / 3 nite park. It was fun, but not long enough. We have done 7 days ever since, plus 1 11 day thrown in just for kicks...

I know joining late, we may not get a Palo ressie, but, we have done this before and have always been able to get in....just put our name on the wait list when we board. This will be our 6th eastern trip, so we always do the islands on our own. Found it to be alot cheaper, plus we are beach people, so we know the best ones on each island.

Enough about us, atleast until I book for sure. Is there a page that list everyone, I'm sure we have sailed with someone on this cruise before....

I'm a picture kind of guy, so I will pull up the old photobucket account and post some pictures of some of our past cruises...if anyone is interested...

This is to the port and back. We always use the transfers on debarkation day if we are flying home after getting off, the on board airline check in is incredibly convenient.
I keep an eye on rental rates and if a deal shows up for the two days we are there before the cruise I'll jump on it. We have rented a car for 5 of the last 6 cruises we have taken, the other time our dis meet group rented a bus for transfer in LA.

I keep an eye on rental rates and if a deal shows up for the two days we are there before the cruise I'll jump on it. We have rented a car for 5 of the last 6 cruises we have taken, the other time our dis meet group rented a bus for transfer in LA.

The onboard baggage check wont work for us. We are using points, etc to upgrade and the onboard checkin isnt set up to deal with free bags, etc....

With 5 people, the cost of the DCL bus just doesnt make sense for us.

Hi!!! New here... just transferred from the 5 night magic on April 20th to a VGT room on the April 21st Fantasy sailing.
