Cruise Linse Questions

My parents are on their Cruise Right now, going to the southern Cribbean, on Carinaval Cruise

I have a real dumb question, My parents took there Cell Phone, but they are keeping it turned off to save the battery, but do the cabins have plug ins??


and could they acually get a hold of some one. ???

They can plug it in, the cabins have outlets, but they will be hard pressed to find a signal for their USA phone, foriegn countries generally use different frequencies and signalling than we do. THey should be able to call home from a port if necessary, and if you need to get ahold of them, call the cruise line, they can gice you the high seas operator number and you can get a message to the ship they are on (very expensive).
