I know a lot of people are posting about the huge increase in prices, but I just compared our cruise this year we will be taking in December, to next year. Turns out, it's actually cheaper next year, thousands cheaper actually!
We are taking the Western Carribean on Dec. 12 this year. We stop in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and CC. 7 nights on the Fantasy. We will be sailing Concierge. Our total for 5 people is about $12,400.

Next year, Dec. 10th, 7 nights, same ship, concierge, 5 people, plus an added stop in Jamaica, is $9,400! That's $3,000 cheaper than what we are paying this year!!!

Just told my husband, he just sighed and shook his head lol.

So don't be discouraged. The prices, on this cruise at least, is a lot cheaper next year than it is this year!

The prices on the 2015 cruise have not increased. They are still at opening day! DCL must have figured out they were overcharging and adjusted LOL!!! I bet there will be some last minute discounts for that sailing.

The price of our cruise this year for the concierge is still $12,499
Next year it's $9,499
It will be interesting to see what the increase is after opening day prices are over. I won't be too thrilled if it's thousands cheaper. But that will be great for everyone else that can benefit ;)

Hi Amber,

That is great that you get to save money next year. I would like to add something. My family of 3 (my mom, my dad, and I took the Panama Canal cruise last year in October and the price was not bad at all. For a two week cruise we paid slightly over $4,000 not including airfare and our pre-night stay at a hotel and other expenses like souvenirs. Still it was a very good price for a longer cruise. Have fun on your upcoming cruises!

we have two booked for this october and i just checked the 2016 prices. we booked opening day for 2015 and the prices for 2016 are close to $700 more already. we have already decided that there will be no dcl for us in 2016. were heading to rcl.
glad that at least some cruises for dcl are less, hope dcl keeps it that way.

We won't be cruising next year. I was just curious about the pricing. We are looking at Aulani next year. It's cheaper to fly to Hawaii and get a one bedroom suite for 9 days at Aulani than it is for a 7 day cruise. So if we can get this cruise paid down some before next summer, we will be going to Hawaii in December 2016.
