Not in public spaces or in staterooms.Going on the Disney Treasure come September 2025, are people still hiding ducks?
They are just being told to remove the ducks, not scold people. It doesn’t seem that complicated or dramatic to explainI've been on 30 cruises and didn't even know this was a thing. If I saw one I probably just assumed a toddler dropped it. Adults come up with some pretty juvenile things to entertain themselves.
I can't imaging being in a meeting where you have to discuss adults hiding ducks and how to proceed with stopping the behavior.
That's because there are people who think rules don't apply to them.Yes but people are still doing it . In October my daughter found 8. We gave one to our server the last morning she was thrilled.
Against the rules, but you continue to find them....
The planDisney website referenced above is considered an official website.there's nowhere on the website that states they aren't allowed

I've spoken to so many cast members about this and they always say the same - if it wasn't allowed, they'd be on the prohibited list. As long as they're not left in shops, around the pool area and in bathroom, it's fine.
You're always going to get difference of opinion and how clear the "rules" need to be but until it's in black and white on their website to say prohibited, then they're allowed
We were on the Treasure January 11 sailing and didn't notice any ducks. Perhaps they were too well hidden.
But it is.I don't consider it to be an official website
But it is.
We also had a cast member post here that ducks were no longer allowed.
Sure, it probably should be. But Plan Disney is an official Disney website, whether or not you "consider" it to be.if that's the case, it would be under the prohibited items on the DCL website
It takes a long time for changes to actually show up on the DCL website.if that's the case, it would be under the prohibited items on the DCL website
I'm not surprised that Disney has made that call. l know that they don't allow any items to be left lying around their parks due to it not being approved Disney theming. The same could be said for random plastic ducks sitting around on cruise ships. But it is.

Our kids found a couple three months ago on the fantasy. They talked about it all day. It really made the day special for them. Who knew ducks could make people so happy.
