Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone can advise me. Me and DH are off to Florida in 24 days time. As part of our trip we are doing the three day Wonder cruise, and are wondering (OK, panicking) about whether we should have received some kind of documentation?

We have a confirmation of our booking and subsequent payment, but nothing more. We booked this part of our holiday directly by calling Disney Cruise Line. We were also expecting some forms to fill in because we have booked the REAS package - to say when we want to book our spa times, Palo, etc. Very concerned about these if we will need to post them back to Florida!

So my question is for anyone who has booked just their cruise direct with Disney - should I be expecting further documents, and if so, how soon did yours arrive? And from anyone who has done the REAS package - did you receive some forms in the post?

We have emailed Disney about this but no response so far.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi ArielJasmine

We are going on our next cruise in just over 2 weeks and we received our documents about 10 days ago. We booked directly with Disney Cruise Line too, so I would imagine that you will receive your docs very soon. Ours were delivered by UPS

Sorry I can't help you with the REAS package

Have a great time

Hi mandymouse

Thanks very much for this, hopefully our documents should arrive any day now. What should I expect to receive - tickets? and ?

Love your picture, btw!

Hi ArielJasmine

I've got my docs here and you will receive ;-

A travel booklet for each member of your party
Immigration Papers for The Bahamas (1 each)
An information booklet (info on how to get to Port Canveral and what to expect once onboard)
A booklet on 'Gifts' that you can order
And a couple of leaflets

We haven't booked any excursions, so I don't know if these would normally arrive with your docs

Hope that helps

Thanks again for your help, mandymouse. Really appreciate it.

Hope you enjoy your cruise.

Hi,
We went on the Xmas cruise last year and got our tickets about 3 weeks before departure. We also had the REAS package although we booked through Dreams Unlimited and I just e-mailed them with dates and times that we would like. They then confirmed them with Disney and we had written confirmation in our cabin on our arrival. I guess you could e-mail DCL direct with your preffered times and they will note your request.

Mick.

Hi Mick

Thanks very much for your reply. Looks like we should hopefully be receiving our documents in a very short while then, as it is just over three weeks until we go.

DCL have actually finally replied about our REAS package to ask us to email them with our preferred times - so your reply was right on the money, thanks. Pleased to hear that the written confirmation will be in our cabin on arrival and not posted to us - one less thing to worry about.

Hi Aj,
Pleased your getting sorted. Not sure if you will get chance but I can recommend the high tea and brunch, aswell as the main evening dinner at Palo and you can also make reservations for these through your REAS package. One bit of advice go there hungry because you will certainly leave full and might even get some "carry outs" if you can't manage dessert at the table. Oh and the massage is terrific too as is the breakfast in your room.

Have a great trip and ask away if you have any more questions.

Mick.

Hi again Mick

Thanks for this. I had a feeling that I may be putting on weight on this cruise...!

I wonder if I could ask another question of you? The couples massage - is this a full body massage, or just back massage? I am a little nervous about this, having never had a proper massage before. I had heard somewhere (possibly on these boards somewhere) that you can request a spa taster, that is back massage and facial each instead, but couldn't find anything on the DCL website to this effect. Just wondered if you had been offered this. I'm sure I will be fine with the massage if not - I am just very ticklish!! I take it that couples massage means that you are massaged side by side?

Thanks again - sorry for the daft questions!

AJ princess:

Hi,
As I understand you can get well being massages for 2 or spa tasters for 2 and people have even had just 1 person getting 2 treatments. I think they are fairly flexible as you have paid for the time in your package. We had the well being massage and paid extra for an additional facial too. This was offered at the time of the massage but there was no "hard sell" . The whole experience was amazing and we made to feel very special. Don't worry if you feel a bit unsure or uneasy as the CM's really do put you at ease and nothing is too much trouble I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep and she said she took it as a compliment..!! When you first arrive at the Spa you are each shown to the changing rooms then when your ready they take you both to the massage room and yes you lay side by side on seperate beds and after they have finished you get time to relax and then go back to the changing rooms. I won't hesitate to add the package to our next cruise and I'm sure you will enjoy. Oh and don't worry about asking any "daft" questions imho there's no such thing feel free to ask away.

Mick.

Hi ArielJasmine,
We will be cruising on the wonder on may 19th we were expecting our documents to be sent to our hotel that we will be staying in pre-cruise but we actually recieved our docs last friday much to our surprize
We booked through all seas and recieved a cheque book looking document that had all your details and lugguge tags etc, then there were some booklets giving you some info, a booklet for ordering gifts for your cabin, an immigration form 1 per person some rather sweet postcards with a picture of the ship and ariel and a letter from our T.A.
It is compulsive reading in our household :goodvibes :goodvibes and I especially never tire of reading through our details!!!!!
Hope you get your docs soon, and have a really lovely cruise

Thanks for putting my mind at rest about this, Mick. I have enough things going round in my head at the moment, so it is nice to have one less! Hopefully soon I will be more excited than stressed out!!

Thanks for your message, Chucklechops, I am beginning to feel reassured that our documents will arrive on time! I hope you have a fantastic time on your cruise.
