Do they not tip the mail carriers in Europe??
We don't tip everyday but at Christmas they get nice tips from everyone, along with the UPS driver, Garbage men, Poland Spring Water delivery man......

Good morning, all. As far as the topic goes, I do not think that the wait staff and room stewards are "living large". There are few job opportunities in their home countries, and they need money. Like everyone else. Should Disney pay them more? They probably already do. It is not slave labor. That said, I have no problem tipping them.

Waitresses in my neck of the woods rely on tips. They provide a service to me and I compensate them with money.

We also tip the mailman, Fedex and UPS guys at Christmas.
