Cruise availability 11 months out?

I am planning a Family Reunion Cruise for January 2004. What is the availability to DVC members on Reservations 11months out. My fear is that the rest of the family will get a Reservation early (Normal DCL) and we will not be able to book for the same time.
We are staying 5 days at WDW prior to a 3 day cruise.

Has anyone else ever been in the same situation and/or had any problems not getting the reservations they have asked for?

We have a like situation for our upcomming Aug. cruise. We are going with friends and they booked before we could. We had no problem booking at 11 months although we could not get the cabin we wanted.

One good thing is your family can not book for Jan 2004 yet. DCL is not making any reservations at this time for 2004. We are expecting that to open up within the next 2 or 3 months.

As for the 11 month window, unless you are trying to travel over New Years, I don't think you should have any problem getting a Jan booking at 11 months out.
