Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Doesn't look like we'll have a white one here and it's raining today so all the snow we had has melted. Oh well there's always next year.

You will love the Lion King. It's been playing here in Toronto for a few years now and I saw it about 2 years ago. It's really interesting how they do the animals.

To all our dis friends happy holidays from our family to yours.

Kathy and I had a wonderful time at the Christmas party last night at Fred Miller's home. We enjoyed the food, friends and the wonderful hospitality that was extended to us. If you don't receive a Christmas card from us just consider this as our good wishes.

I hope that the cat juggler in Key West gives all of his cats a nice can of tuna for Christmas

Went to the Gateway Store last night ... spent enought to equal a cruise! Art gave me some $ toward it as part of my Christmas Present. With any luck the new puter should arrive the day or so after Christmas and then I'll be back on line from home with no filters (Thanks work).

For those who can ... the Lotto Power Ball is over 200 Million, would that buy a lot of cruising or what!

Have a nice weekend .... myself, I'll be up to my arm pits in wrapping, cleaning and cooking!

Good afternoon everyone -

Well, DH and I saw the Lion King at the performing arts center here in Tampa for our anniversary. What a fantastic production. It truly is amazing the way that they do the animals. I would have to say that my favorite character was Scar. I wasn't too fond of him in the movie, of course, because he's the bad guy, but the actor that did him in the musical was just brilliant. What a great anniversary it was!!!

Have a great weekend everyone. I'll be doing my last minute shopping tonight and tomorrow. Then, it's a power wrapping session, where I get to wrap just about everything.

We still have a few last minute gifts to get and then it is on to the wrapping.

Looking forward to seeing Cathy back on line after Christmas with her new handy dandy computer.

Nancy if you need any more of those items that Kathy fixed for you let us know and she will make it a tad smaller the next time if you need some.

Hey the twins have been quiet for a few days. Too much stuff to do girls???

We have so much to do and not enough time! Seems like we have been busy not stop since my return from NY.

Speaking of New York, I had a great visit with Tulirose/Rich! It was absolutley wonderful to see both of them and just have a relaxing conversation. And to all the naysayers out there, YES Rosemary can cook (Sorry RellingTwin) I had a great visit to NY and seeing these 2 really put the cherry on top!

Going to WDW next month if anyone needs anything picked up (January 10th-17th). On the 12th our friend Kay and I will be doing the half martahon (walking), please don't laugh as as the time gets closer we wonder what the heck we are doing this for. We have also thought about just renting a room somewhere so at least Scott knows we left for the maramthon (at 3am!) and then just sleeping until we have to meet him! No we will at least attempt this! We have to walk all 13.1 miles in 3 1/2 hours or 3.74 miles per hour or .06 miles per minute! I'm sure one of you will start a betting poll to see if I finish

Who else here wishes they were as crafty as @goofynut? Thank you so much for the gifts! You are truely a Martha Stewart in my book!

Hey Dan -

I'm not sure what our plans our for January, but we were talking about taking a day trip to WDW sometime during the month. Let us know what your plans are, and maybe we can meet. Looking at the calendar, we'll probably go on Saturday the 11th.

If we don't get to meet, I hope that you do well on the marathon. I give you great courage for even walking it. I would have to think twice about that.

Quite! Not for long! Guess what I did today? Went Christmas shopping! I know, I know... I'm ahead of schedule, but I got my Christmas bonus on Friday and it was burning a hole in my pocket. Blew the whole $50 in one store. Saving the Christmas Eve shopping spree for DH's gift. God only knows what he will end up with. Planning a long day in the kitchen tomorrow. I am cooking breakfast for all the employees at work Monday morning at 7am. So I have a lot of prep work to do. This year it will be "Breakfast Ring" pastries, blueberry muffins, cheese sausage balls, fresh fruit cocktail, coffee, and juice. I did this instead of giving gifts last year and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
We will be working shorthanded next week, so I expect to stay VERY busy. The office is closed only Christamas Day. Moms in labor and sick people don't pay attention to holidays.

Hi all! Very busy weekend! Lots of wrapping,and last min. stuff.I work tomorrow , then off for 3 days, then work on Friday. The kids are BEYOND excited!!
DH has finished another room in our whole house remodel! DD's room is finished! The paint on her furniture and closet doors will be dry tomorrow and we will be able to put everything back in her room! Yipee!!!Now the kitchen, Living room, dinning room, and kids rooms are compleat. 2 more bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms to go!

Dan, I have no idea what you are refering to re: Rosemarys cooking! We had a very nice dinner of Grilled Chicken when I was there!

I've got about 30 seconds to do a post and (again) wish all my DIS friends a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I know I'm probably not alone BUT why does it take so long to prepare for a day that we really are only awake and celebrating for about 12 hours!

I've ordered a new computer - a Gateway with more bells and whistles than I expected to get ................... so barring a blizzard it should arrive 12-26-02. My DH - Art gave me some money for it for Christmas .... isn't he nice!

Speaking of blizzard ... that's our weather forecast for Christmas Eve and Day ... snow, ice, etc. Guess it's a good thing that I had the ice storm the other day and now know where every candle, oil lamp, kindling etc is in the house.

Just checked the mailbox and want to thank you very much Cathy @ C. You are just so artsy crafty girl. Congratulations on the computer again. It will be nice to see you posting again.

On behalf of myself, Kathy, Kathryn, Stacey, Michael Jr, Tanya, Ricky, Eric and our little bundle of joy Katie. We want to wish all of our dis friends and their families all the best for the holidays. You have made our lives so much richer and fuller for having known and corresponded with all of you this year.

We have renewed old friendships and have made new ones that will carry forward through this next year and beyond. We may not have won the power-ball lottery, but through these boards and our cruises we have certainly struck it rich in the lottery of life with our having known and cruised with you.

I'm at work today wearing my Minnie Santa Hat which is brightening my patients day. Some of them won't be able to go home for Christmas so at least I can get them to smile with my hat, my Christmas sweater and all my Disney pins on my lanyard.

Norm & Nancy ... I got a different Gateway than the one they advertised on TV. That one was $3000 plus. Bad enough the one I got was = to the cost of a cruise (almost). BUT I did get a reallllly cool printer-scanner-copier-fax....Art's idea!
