Hello All. Congratulations on the #1900 Dan. Kathy and I were out all day on house calls for nurses for newborns and we had Katie with us. Kathy went inside with the clients and Katie and I stayed in the car. Supposed to warm up here tomorrow into the 50's again.

Welcome home Twins. Are these the same twins that are in the commercial you know that one where the guy sings about what he loves and ends with the twins:) Welcome home Mary and Ave.

We have some more visits again tomorrow and have Katie spending the night tomorrow. That gives her mom and dad a night of continuous sleep at least once a week.

Dan we talked to Cathy in Pa and the poor thing could hardly talk. Hope that all of our sick and snowed in friends get to doing better soon.

Mike

Dan nice to see someone else conversing with themselves on this thread besides me!

Hi papa, Windy, eshanon, bettemom, Mary (Welcome Back), Nancy (from York), Amy and CWD! And hi to anyone who lurked but did not post.

Just finished Joe Millionaire. Glad he chose Zora and what a happy ending. So, they pull us back for another week to see if they continue the relationship.

What a weird day today was. Still snowing lightly here, but we are all cleared out. Tomorrow, I guess, will be back-to-work day. Bummer.

Well, Dan I guess you were having a good time having a converstation with yourself. I talk to myself alot but have never had an internet conversation with myself. Where you just passing time until Joe picked Zora? Thanks for the information.
I think as long as it is an official birthcertificate you are ok. I don't think all states have raised seals. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

I'm glad he did pick her, and yes we are sucked in for another week to see if they are together. I wonder if that will be the last show for real. I was disappointed with the twist, I thought it would be something more exciting then a Million Dollars for them to split.

Mike-- Wondered where you were. At least you could go out today, not like us snowbound PA folks.

Snowplow went through so guess we can get to work tomorrow. DS#1 is anxious to go back to college. They cancelled his classes for Monday and Tuesday, so he can leave Tues afternoon and get back for Wed classes.

Now you realize you just ruined it for me because I am presently on Mountain Time zone and at this moment we are in the middle of Joe Millionaire? I guess I can change the channel now! :jester:

Dan,
We are definitely on the 9:00 PM Delta Flight, I just booked the tickets on Sunday. Of course the price was $20 more than it was on Friday. But oh well, I guess it is not likely to go down much at this point what with America West pulling out of Columbus. I will look into the Sheraton Suites as the Fairfield is $89 on Thursday and $69 on Friday. Thanks for the info.

Later,
Chris

Good morning all. Hope that everyone was able to dig out of the snow and make it to the street this morning.

I know that the warm temperatures and the sandy beaches are calling to all of our dis friends, especially those in the snow belt. A few grains of warm sand in between the toes would not be bad this morning.

Nancy the daffodils are starting to pop up along our driveway and in Kathy's flower bed. Spring is just around the corner in a little over a month.

Glad to see that the twins made it back home with their families safe and sound. Hope that you both had a great time.

Pixie dust headed to Cathy in Pa girl heal thyself.~*~*~*~*~*~ You are sorely missed on the boards.

How is the German side of the dis family doing??? Eric hope that your gramps is doing well.

Tulirich it is good to see you posting on the boards, keep it up we need more guys posting. Mike

Dan, are you really into pins also? Last trip we brought our books but noone else was really into it too much. You either get the hardcore collectors that somehow get all the cast member pins and they literally live at disneyland or disneyworl and then you get those that just have all those pins that come with the lanyards. Wish we could find something in between. We just have a good time with it. Sometimes we get a great pin and get an extra then we have it to trade. We don't buy over the internet. Anyway, I am sure Bill wil bring his with him. He likes to just collect!

It is snowing here!! Yeah but it is barely sticking on the ground and will be all melted by this p.m. Hey, why doesn't someone pack me up a load of snow and send it ups??Then I can pretend it is winter here:bounce: :bounce:

Back to decluttering! Yes, Nancy, i have finally started. Oh by the way, I just read two excellent books last week. Sea Grass by Anita Shreve and The number one ladies detective. It is great. It was the Today show book club book. quite small. About an african lady that becomes a detective. Tell me how the new James Patterson is. I haven't been too happy with the past few.

Does anyone ever here from Power Alabama or Power Alaska?
Nancy, did you ever here from George and Barbara?

Well. TTFN (Ta Ta for now)

Elaine

Have changed my signature hope that it is not the dreaded red x. It should be a picture of Katie. If it is not showing up please tell me. Mike

Elaine you and William are to blame for Kathy starting to collect pins.(It is ok as I am starting to like them too) Mike

Elaine,

I just collect the pins that I find cute. I also pick up an pin when I think it is tradeable. Scott and I just started putting them in the books. We have one full and will fill at least 2 more.

Dan

oh pins, pins, pins. I had picked up a couple every trip but nothing really serious. Then the Disney Store here had them on sale and well, I now own a whole bunch. I would like to trade some of them but have to admit I only bought ones that I like so it's not a problem if they aren't traded. I intend to bring some in October if anyone is interested in trading.

It's lightly snowing here. We are supposed to get 5cm in total. Not really enough to worry about. Just enough to coat everything. It was slow getting to work though -- especially as my DS missed the bus yet again and I had to drive him. Ugh.

Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

I have to get to more decluttering this weekend. I told my DS that he had to tidy up his room this weekend and he just looked at me. I told him that I wanted to see at least part of his floor. I think I have the messy teenager around and the amazing thing is that he doesn't notice and neither do his friends. I may tackle his room this weekend but then again maybe not...

Glad the twins had a good weekend at HH. It sounds really nice although I've never been.

Must go and do some work. The computer program I use is acting up but I'll have another go at it.

Fiona

Wanted to mention that it's a really cute picture of Katie. Hard to remember when my DS was that tiny.:p

Fiona

I only collect DCL pins NOW, after starting back in the beginning of the craze to collect everything. I'm a more focused collector.

Have you all heard of the Southermost Scavenger Hunt in Key West? See the post I started about it. We are a group of 4 and we need a minimum of 10 to partake in the hunt. Is this something that people in this Octobercruisefest group might want to do?

Tina :)

Hi Folks,
I didn't have time to post yesterday and was astonished to see how many new post there were - Even if you don't count Cheating Dan's one-word or one-phrase posts ;)
BUT YOU OHIOANIANS (Spelling?) HAVE TO BE AWARE OF US: We will fly in (and out) via Cincinnati this time using Delta.
Today I spent another 90 minutes in my dentist's torture chair :( , but after that dreadful time we had an appointment with our travel agent. We spent two and a half hours there - He and his boyfriend are good friends of us and we also chatted a lot;) - and booked our flights, bought the 30-day-tickets for WDW, the 21-day-tickets for Busch Gardens and SeaWorld, and finally rented our car, a Full-size with GPS. Probably a Taurus, but we will surely upgrade to a Volvo S60 or 80 when we pick up the car. We did so last time and only had to pay 15$/day for the upgrade from a Cougar w/o GPS to an S80 with GPS and as it's off-season again we're hopeful to get a similar deal.

Rosemary,
you won't usually find me lurking at 5pm, because I'm at the gym at this time 5 days out of 7. We're only lazy on Wednesday and Saturdays and that will also change in the spring, because we're going up to 6 days/week then again.
I usually have a short look at the thread in my breakfast break 930-945am and during my lunch break 1200-1230am.

Nancy Windermere),
I'll send you the list and the deckplan again, but with separate mails. Your mailbox obviously doen't accept anything exceeding 200kbyte, please supply me with another adress or adjust your mailbox settings.

Eric -- I admire you going to the gym that much. I'm just working out at home but trying to do it every morning.

Tina -- looked at your thread about the Scavenger Hunt and it looks interesting. We've never been to Key West before but did want to look around so it might be perfect to do. I've sent the site to Jim to see what he thinks and then I'll let you know.

Fiona

You just might end up with my nephew (Mike Moyer) as your pilot! He is currently based in Cincinnati and frequently does the Orlando trips.
