Mike: Thanks for the answers to my questions. But I still can't get into the chat room.:(
I'm so frustrated I'm thinking of setting up my own chat room!
Nancy: Congrats to DS #2. I'm sure his mom and dad are PROUD!:D
I heard from DU today, we are offically in the late dinning rotation. Also talked with Rellingtwin, she has taken care of our Resv. for Capt. Marvins. Aren't sister the greatest!
Nancy, My Big Fat Greek Wedding was released here about a week ago. Very few Greeks here in Panama City FL. Go figure!
Later, Ave'

Oh  Papa

 to you Tulirose too.

Did you know you can now only post one message every 50 seconds.

Dave

Mary, you snuck in there and got post 1600 while I had to wait for the 50 secconds to elapse.

Oh well. Congrats :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sorry. It wasn't Mary, it was her DS (Disney Sister), Ave.

Congrats Ave.

I have a long way to go to catch up to anyone with the high post counts...:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Dave

I didn't mean to steal your post. I don't even know how to figure out which post # it is.
How can I make it up to you? Maybe a drink at the sail away party?:p

Dave--- I wonder the same thing, how we are going to get all the stuff back from college. I have one at each end of the state of PA, thank heavens they get out of school a week apart. Will give our weary backs a chance to recup between moving everything out. I have been to Un of Del campus many times over the years. They have 2 ice rinks right on campus. It is only 90 minutes from my house.

Ave-- Thanks for the response about the Big Greek Wedding movie. Wonder how your area rated to get it early. My area has alot of Greeks. In fact this weekend, they had their Greek Gyro Festival which Norm and I love to go to. We say that they built the new Greek Church on Gyros.

Didn't get the taxes together. Oh well there is always tomorrow.

Nancy

I'll try to make it next Sat for chat. Last year it seems like all chats were scheduled for my weekends to work. Thia week I will try to wake up and be conscious for 10am .

Wow, you guys were really working to get to that post 1600, weren't ya. That went quick.

Anyway, chat on Friday night was a blast. It seemed as though the Cruisetoberfesters really took over. And, for those who got a kick out of my DH, dvcChrisvwl, just wait until you get to meet him in person. I promise that he'll live up to your visions, and maybe more so. He's a certifiable GoofBall!! But, he always makes a party fun. So, get ready.

I understand about the taxes thing. I've been doing our taxes myself using TaxCut software, but this year I'm worried about what to do. I've been working from home for the last year, so I lost my cubicle in the office. I know that I can deduct some of that from my taxes, but I don't know all of the rules, and I'm so worried about making mistakes. I think that we may go to H&R Block to have them do them this year. Then, I can probably figure it out myself for next year. We'll see. I want to get them done soon, since I need to use my tax refund for our trip to the Bahamas for my best friend's wedding in May.

The last couple of weeks have been challenging with DD. She's 16 months now and everything is a game. It's a game to get her into her carseat. It's a game to change her diaper. It's a game to keep her out of the garbage. Each time she gets into something that she knows that she's not supposed to, she just giggles and runs away. She's trying my patience, but I'm sure that it's just a phase. But, what's next???

Well, good night to everyone!!!

I'll drink to that. Any excuse to share a drink with friends Ave, but it is not necessary for you to buy. The only reason I even noticed the post count was because Tulirose's last post mentioned it. You can see the post count on the Disney Cruise page with all the topics listed.

Besides didn't I hear Tulirose say she was buying us drinks. Something about her being a woman of her word as I remember....Tuli

To get the movies early you just have to know someone that works retail. And of course they have to be willing to sell it early under the counter.

As for taxes, I think we truely pushed our accountant to the edge last year. He practices in Florida and we had to file PA and DE for us last year. He had no idea what to do when filing taxes in a commonwealth as opposed to a state. For the rest of us, we don't know the difference. Hopefully once I get EVERYTHING from work he will be able to look thru his notes from last year and be able to get our stuff done quickly.

Amy I know that in turbo tax you go through an interview process that asks you questions and based on that the software fills in your taxes. We are lucky here in Tennessee as we have no state income tax. We just have to file the federal tax forms.

Katie will be nine months old the 21st of the month and even though she has short arms, she can reach stuff that is twice her height away. Those little arms are like octopus tentacle's, they seem to have little suckers on the ends that latch on to stuff quicker than you can take it away from her. Guess that it is time to baby proof the house again. Haven't done that in 20 years. Mike

Dave: Thanks for letting me off the hook. But still want to buy you a drink!:p
Bed is calling. Night All!:o

Boy away from the computer for a day and I had pages to read.

Haven't been successful getting in chat but will try again this week. We've been mall walking as an exercise program and we usually go after dinner -- there's a Disney store in the mall so it's been expensive! -- but will try to be back in time for chat this Friday night if I can get it working. Saturday morning sounds good too.

Have a cold and spent most of yesterday in bed but am feeling better today.

All this talk of taxes -- boy you are all so organized. Here we don't have to file until April 30th and it's usually then that mine are sent in. My mother does the taxes for the family and does them by computer and efiles them which is good. Of course I wait til the last minute because for the last few years I'd have to pay taxes and haven't gotten a refund. I get child support that is taxable which causes the problem.

Was wondering about My Big Fat Greek Wedding because we can't get it til tomorrow. We saw Two Weeks Notice on Saturday and thought it was really funny although I don't think it's done that well in the theatres.

Am going to book the Radisson tonight I hope.

As to having a 16 month old getting into everything? I have a 16 year old and he gets into the kitchen to cook and never cleans it up afterwards -- he's in a stage where he's making a lot of cream soups -- the bad part being that he tends to let them burn the pot on the bottom. Ugh. He also walks around the front hall and kitchen in his boots thereby getting snow and dirt all over everything. Getting him to clean up is a challenge. Still he's a great kid and I'm not really complaining although some days when you only have socks on and you step in a puddle.....

Have a good day everyone.

Fiona

LOL Amy,

you should read what Tom Clancy said in his novel "Rainbow Six": The first year you you make them walk and talk - The next seventeen you make them "Shut Up" and "Sit Down" ;)
A firend of mine plays in chidrens's theater company and on Sunday we went there to see him acting. 400 kids in the audience and only 50 adults. It was a "Cheesical", a musical with a cheesy story (Would ahve been great for you, Dave ;) ) A knight called Camenbert, the son of King Gorgonzola, had to retrieve some dragon-cheese from a dragon in the woods. I was very funny and it's always astonishing how the kids blend into the play and become part of it.

Thanks for all your pixie dust!!
I spent nearly two hours at the dentist and the next 45min-session will take place next tuesdays :( And I have to pay $1500 :( :( Now my head is ringing like a bell as the painkillers wear off.
Wether the tooth can be saved eventually I will konw in three or four months. Keep your fingers crossed for me. At least all the trouble should be over before we cruise.

Tomorrow in the morning I will pick up a coworker from Denver/CO at his hotel and give him a lift to our office. Perhaps I'll make a detour over the Autobahn to teach him the true meaning of speed :p

Eric take some pain killers as you have your coworker in the car on the autobahn. That should make his heart skip a beat.:bounce:

Had a mix up with dental appointments so instead of both at the same time, Kathy's was at 10 and I have one at 1pm:( Also George W Bush was in town this am and as we only live about 2 miles from the opryland hotel where he spoke, the helicopters have been buzzing overhead this morning. Mike

You're the man, Mike :p

Please check out your mailboxes and welcome Michelle and Chris (CDW), our newest addition from Ohio - So much for Tennessee gaining on Ohio;)
If you take a closer look at the list, you will discover that Deck 7/aft/starboard is now completely in our hands :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
Perhaps we can tear down the dividers and have the longest verandah on the ship :jester: We could bowl there or have our own shuffleboard.

Hello,

Welcome to Michelle and Chris to the cruise. You are sure to have a lot of fun!

My mouth is a little 'tingly' right now. Nikki likes to use a baking soda jet spray on my teeth after she finishes knocking all the stuff off with the crowbar. :teeth: If she misses with the spray you get a really itchy shower and an apology. It can also cut your already sore gums. My teeth were in fine shape and am good for another 6 months. Ya Hoo!

Haven't heard from Cathy yet. Wonder what Art got at the Woodworking show?

I have to get off now and check on my physical therapy. I was supposed to get for a torn rotator cuff and bad back. However I am feeling much better now and really don't feel I need it. That cortisone is a wonder! He shot it right into my shoulder joint. Before he was finished it felt SO much better.:D

Well will get off now and call for the PT. Hope your teeth get better Eric. Have fun scaring the stuffing out of the co-worker from Colorado. Kathy with a K

Well, I guess we all know where the party is going to be, huh???

A happy welcome to our crazy group, Michelle & Chris.

It seems that today was the day of the dentist. I went this morning too. I only had a full exam, and I'm going back next month for a routine cleaning. I had my fill of the dentist over the holidays. I had to deal with a cracked tooth, root canal and crown. I feel your pain, Eric!!

I know what you mean. Chris couldn't wait for Emily to start walking, now I just wish she'd slow down. There are times that I wish that I would have had kids at a younger age. No wonder I'm so tired!! I just keep hearing this from others about all the different stages. Boy, isn't this going to be fun. And, we're talking about a 2nd one. Eeeekkk!!!
