Sarahsmom - Rest assured and pay no attention to Hope, you are not the only one not packed yet. :teeth:

Welcome Michael and Family of New Jersey From Richard and Rosemary of NY. :wave2:

Windemere and George - We are sorry you will not be cruising with us this year. I guess you go back to being a figment of our imagination! Best wishes on the new home and jobs! :goodvibes:

Dan, honey, you missed me! What a sweetie!::yes::

Excuse me Tuli............pay no attention to ME??? :teeth:

Aren't you the one that thought I was a blonde??? I would say Pay no attention to you!!!

 Hope

Hope and Rosemary-

Get to your corners! If you 2 can't play fair then go stand in your own corner!

Dan

PS HAve a great night-going to bed now!!!

Thank you Rosemary for restoring my hope in procrastinators...I have been running errands all day and then went out for dinner, just got off the phone with GoofyNut (aka Cathy) and now I am checking out all the threads on the boards...Wednesday night, I go for a haircut and then will start to pack in earnest...to my credit, I do have two cruise boxes in the trunk of my car with must have cruise stuff in it but that's all that is done...and I am working Monday thru Thursday next week...luckily Sam is off on Monday and Tuesday and can run any last minute errands.

Sarah only has a three day school week next week...Wednesday, she has to go to a Confirmation retreat at our church in preparation for her spring confirmation so she is at school for 2 days, off one day, back one day and then officially off until 10-21!!! Unfortunately, we still have school while she is gone so she is trying to do as much of the assignments as she can before she leaves because you know she will not be doing any on board ship once she meets her new friends!! Unfortunately, she is a procrastinator like her mom!!

Tulirose..are you damp, chilly and cold like us...we had frost on Friday and it rained all day today and is just bone chilling!! Mary Jo

Welcome to Micheal and family! Glad to have you with us! If you e-mail me RellingTwin@aol.com with your information (Names/ages occupation main or late dinning cabin number hometown, and where you will be the night before the cruise). Once I have this I will add you to the list and forward you a copy. This info is only available via e-mail (we don't want to put too much info on a public board)

As Shari said the "meet and greet" info is on page 411. Just click on her link.
If you are interested in the T-shirts just ask. A logo can be e-mailed to you, then you print it out on transfer paper and iron it onto your t-shirts.
So sorry you didn't find this board sooner:( . It's been a fun year planning our trip with everyone. Hard to belive it's finally almost here:hyper:

Goodnight, Dan.

Mary Jo-- We've had all kinds of weather here the past few days. Frost, rain, wind, snow, hail, sunshine. It changes quickly too.

I have nothing officially packed. I have suitcases and garment bags on the spare bed and stacks of stuff just kinda tossed in. Will need to go through and see what's actually there.

I bought another swim suit so I would have two. I don't like having to put on a cold, damp suit. The guys already had two pairs of trunks each.

Are some of you planning to do laundry part way through? Not sure we have enough clothes to get through without washing. Plus, it would save room to not pack that much anyway.

Hopefully, tomorrow I can get things under control. I got some of the ironing done this morning.

Still want to get my hair cut before we leave too.

Colleen

Hi Dan,

Email Pete at webmaster@wdwinfo.com about the picture. Some of the wdwinfo sites are not showing up and he needs to know which so that he can fix it.

Only 3 more days before we leave!!! YIPEE!! I'm hoping to get packing done tomorrow and see what last minute things we need to do.
Thanks for the reminder about getting the mail stopped! I had completely forgotten about that (my parents will be getting my mail for the first week, but after that they are leaving to go on a cruise also (not Disney--how dare they!!) I'll have to add that to my "to do" list for Monday.

Got film tonight, and picked up a Leap Pad for Trevor to stay occupied--we have a LONG drive down. I also picked up a new DVD for our vehicle DVD player to watch (a Rollie Pollie Halloween with Pooh too)

Can't wait to get there!!! See you all VERY soon!!

Sue Ellen

We're signed up for the whole day one at the Tuluum Ruins. Back when we first met, she used to talk of going to Mexico - so we are taking advantage of the stop to take an excursion there. Can't wait to see them - looks like "El Dorado" :-)

:wave:Welcome Michael, Jennifer, Hannah, and Eleanor! I have a daughter who turns 8 the day we drive down (Oct 8) so she'll be glad to hear there are more girls her age going on the cruise. We are also leaving down on Wednesday, driving, spending 1 1/2 days in Orlando. On Friday before the cruise we'll be going to Sea World.

Can't believe it's almost here. We're just about all packed and ready to go (except for the things we'll have to run out at the last minute and get).

Already did our mail stop form and are now trying out the timers for our lamps during our 12 day absence.

We haven't even gotten the suitcases out yet!:o Talk about putting it off! I know Mike and I will be running around Wednesday like chickens with our heads cut off (Not a pretty sight by the way) and snapping at each other. Where has the time gone? Each year I say to myself that I am taking a few days off before vacation starts so that I can get ready without a lot of fuss and muss but here I am again. We will be out of the house at 4a.m. Thursday come H or Highwater! (Kids, we may be dressed a little funny at times.):hyper:

I am so glad the biopsy was benign. That is so scary.

Welcome to the newbies.

I just want out of here. I am asking to be on "first request off" here Tuesday night. Maybe that way I can get ahead of Wednesday. Wish me luck. That means it will waste one vacation day but it will be worth it in the long run.

Take care everyone. I do want to put a sign in our car window just to see if we meet anyone on the road. I think it would be fun. We chased someone back from Florida year before last until we lost them in Atlanta.

For all you freezing northerners, it was 80 something degrees down here in Tampa today and sunny. Per a friend, the booths are already going up for the food and wine festival...

Bought yet another dress for the cruise, Dillards has a huge dress sale going on, $10 for a $40 dress.. :Pinkbounc

Hope - I forgot I thought of you as a blonde! I have to tell you that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your excitment in your preparations for this trip - from your anxiousness for the (seemingly) never-arriving documents to your overpacking anxieties. It really has been quite enjoyable. We look forward to meeting you and your lovely family.

MaryJo - It is cooler here but not bone-chilling. We had a bit of a drizzle today and I did wear a long-sleeved shirt (plus my son's Yankee jacket) but it's not as bad as it seems to be in your neck of the woods.

Was gonna start going through my clothes tonight but never made it that far.

Rich decided today that he would like to get a tux for cruise so we went to our local tuxedo place and ordered that. Now, I am rethinking what I will wear on formal night which is why I was going to go through my clothes. I have a gown I wore to a favorite nephew's wedding three years ago which I may decide to take, so I can match up with my handsome hubby in his tux!

Very belated, but very sincere best wishes to Art and Cathy for celebrating 31 years of wedded bliss! Way to Go Guys!!!

Looking forward to meeting you all. Oh, and you too Dan!

Great! We'll be going too, Tony. My son and I and SueEllen's daughter will be joining you and I'm really looking forward to it.

We're just about ready. Got Tony mostly packed and I'm glad he didn't pack much; leaves lots more room for my stuff and room to bring stuff home :)

We need to find him some more shorts. All of his are pretty ratty. Maybe the thrift stores. The boy packed 5 bottles of different hair gels and not one pair of socks. Hmmm... We can hit the outlet stores when we get there I suppose.

So, he still has a couple of items in the wash and needs to get his homework. We both need to pack up computers and power for them and I need to get my cellphone charger in. Otherwise, I think we're ready. Now, I just need to get the stress level down.

See you all soon!

:wave2:

Good morning everyone. Another day closer to our fabulous cruise and meeting out DIS family.

The bridal shower went fantastic yesterday, and my friend Aimee loved it. A funny story about my friend Aimee, she thinks that she can predict pregnancies. For the past several years, each time that she has a dream with a snake in it, sometime soon after, someone ends up pregnant. Well, she has known for a while that Chris and I were going to start trying for another baby, but I hadn't told her our news yet. But, a few weeks ago she had another snake dream, and she was convinced it was us. Well, I had the pleasure of telling her yesterday, and she kept saying, "I told you, I had the snake dream." She actually has guessed about 15 pregnancies with different friends over the past several years. It's almost kinda creepy!!! ;) ;)

Emily's cake at my MIL went very well. She got lots of gifts from friends & family. And, her favorite TV character right now is Dora the Explorer and she got tons of Dora stuff. And, she did get some Leap Pad stuff, like a My First Leap Pad.

Today, we're having cake at church, then Chris and my mom are heading to the tux place. And, I'm going to start working on more packing.

Hi friends - I have returned from my self imposed purgatory and wanted to let you know that I received a call from DVC informing me that for my 10/25/03 cruise - my home on the seas (5622) will NOT be ready and I have to take a substitute room.

AGGGHH!

And by the way, have a wonderful time,
hugs to all from Michael and Mom also -

Rae

MICHEAL welcome to the Boards , HOW DID u find them ???

Jenkatt thank u for a bit of warmth....
was just a yucky day here in the north yesterday

did not get the lawn mowed....

but the sun is shing today , but it is a bit chilly...

THANK U SueEllen ..........................................................

My mom brought over Emily's Tinkerbell costume that she made, and my Wendy costume. She just needs to finishe Chris's Peter Pan top and we'll be all set for MNSSHP on the 10th. Gosh, I'm getting so excited, but I'm so exhausted!!! My biggest disadvantage lately is sleep. I haven't been getting a lot of it, and I'm already the kinda girl that needs 7-8 hours. And on top of it, being pregnant makes me tired ALL the time. Urggg, but the payoff will be a fantastic cruise in only 6 days. Wow, only 6 days left until we're on the Magic.

Well finally a day off! I have so much to do but 1st thing is to get my hair cut!

Also Scott and I have not started packing yet-however we do have a box with stuff thrown in it. We won't pack until Wednesday night (I am out of town MON/TUES/WEDS-should be interesting!)

This time in 1 week my team will be visualizing the capture of PINKY-don't worry we will get a coat for PINKY to survive the winters in Ohio. Or better yet PINKY can be the unofficial mascot of the DIS and can vacation with everyone and we could do a website-you know where in the world is Pinky and where she has been.

Well have a good day.

Dan
