Happy labor day to everyone, hope that y'all are enjoying it.

Kathy is making two bibs for the twins that are being adopted. Will talk to you all later. Mike

Hi everyone. We are back rom Darlington and had a GREAT time. The weather was HOT!!!!We kept dipping paper towels in water and squeezing the water on our heads to try to stay cool. The race was exciting, but Mark Martin's car was damaged very early in the race so he was out of it. :(
We cheered, we drank beer, we bought race stuff....all in all a wonderful "race" weekend:)

Mike and Kathy...Happy Anniversary!

MaryJo....did you say "Golf Shirts?" We are getting T-shirts:confused: Can someone clarify???

WE have Tshirts!! My dad also shrank the Mickey and so now we have a mini Mickey for the front of the shirt too. He also put our names under the little Mickey.

Have a great day.

Megan, 9, just fell off the trampoline while trying to get onto it. We have one from Sam's with the big net around it. Luckily nothing broke, just a huge bruise on her back. We don't need broken bones this close to the cruise!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

:bounce:

RellingTwin...yes you are right, it is t-shirts but I never wear t-shirts because I feel that I really look sloppy in them so we decided to wear golf shirts..sorry if we'll be the odd man out!!

Also got DH some Disney logo cruise shirts that were $10.00 each..this store must do the logos for the Disney merchandise...only problem was that they only had small and medium...the medium actually looked pretty big...I tried it on for me but it was a little tight in the waist...DH was working overtime (16 hour shift) so I bought them anyway...usually when he sees medium he won't even try them on so he was tired after working such a long shift and tried them on after his shower and they fit!!
They had the cruise line shirts, animal kingdom, polynesian, disney studios, etc. Also alot of stuff for Universal and Sea World and Nascar stuff. I don't like to shop..I go for a specific item and hope to find it..I was proud of myself!! Raining here all day and it is sort of gloomy!! School starts on Wednesday for Sarah however, we are in the middle of an ongoing construction project at the high school so they haven't decided yet if we will start on time or not!! Mary Jo

Eric.................. two small glasses of Beer........... COME ON... I live in Germany as well to believe that is a funny.. What happened to the Sekt ???????????????

;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Weekend is over and time is flying towards the Cruise. I guess we will get our Cruise stuff much later....

Believe me, Mate: I really only had two Radlers (Beer with Sprite 50/50). And yes, in the City Hall I had a glass of Sekt (German Champagne) with OJ. I knew that I had to drive and as I'm not very fond of alcohol anyway it wasn't a problem. But on the ship I will definitely have a lot of cocktails :p

I just finished working on the wedding pics. I also downloaded the pics from to other cams on my CD-burner and additionally we did some videos, which are of surprising quality. My digicam does video with VGA-resolution at 30 frames per second. This means I will do some filming i.e. on TestTrack, etc.

Mary Jo, How far are you from Hershey PA??? I have been watching the Travel Channel waiting on the DC special. I would love to visit Hershey, PA. It looks really cool for Chocolate lovers like us.

What a hot day here today. 91 with a heat index of 96. I am staying inside.

Later........Hope

Congratulations, Kathy & Mike

and happy Labour Day to every1

hopelea..we are two hours north of Hershey so if you ever decide to go down there, we can definitely meet up with you...a really nice area and then you could spend some time in Lancaster to see the Amish..we would be more than willing to be your tour guide!! When you drive through the town, the street lights are Hershey kisses...one unwrapped and one wrapped in silver!! You can also smell the chocolate all over town..you used to be able to go through the factory but they stopped that years ago and now you just tour Chocolate world. We are actually two hours from Hershey, two hours from Philadelphia and 2.5 hours from NYC so we are very centrally located. Glad the girls enjoyed the pins!!

Matty204..was Karol able to get a necklace for Kassie..if not, I was able to get an extra one!!

It has cooled off here and is raining all day!!

Welcome back Mary. Glad you had a good time.
I just finished watching the Travel Channel show about Disney Cruise Line. I kept calling my hubby and kids to come watch t with me. They would walk in the room, glance at the TV and give me the old, been there, done that look. They think I'm a little obsessed. I can't imagine why. LOL
With 52 people in our Brunch Bunch, I decided to see about the private room after all. OK Peter, you told me so.:o My travel agent at DU said we could not book it because we were not a group "traveling together". But that we could try to book it once on board. I was thinking of maybe combining a few tables, and trying for the room. That still leaves over 30 of us in the main dinning area. Any ideas? Anyone?
Bettemom, Watched "Weekend at Bernie's" before and during the Disney Travel show. I was picturing Bernie the flamingo in all the dead scenes. LOL Sick or what?
Are you all sure you want to cruise with me? ;) To Late!!!!!:p
Sooner rather than Later, Ave'

Ave

Too funny !!! Bernie has been busy...Went to visit Kims' lab..been to Curves to work-out...went shopping..

He has been thoughtful though...sent his "mom" postcards with his pictures on them....

He is VERY excited about his first plane ride....

Bette :jester: :jester:

I'm pretty sure Palo seats about 120-130.I'm not sure why I think that :p But I seem to remember that question being asked before.

OMG IT'S SEPTEMBER!!!!39 days to go!!!! My last 2 cruises were in Sept.
Sept 22 Cruisetoberfest
Sept 28 CruisEars

I can't wait to see both old friends and new on the Oct 11 Cruisetoberfest.

Ave, I think the way you did it(the brunch) last year was perfect.:bounce: I'm glad you got to see the DCL travel channel show.

Hey everyone!!! How was everyone's long weekend? Ours was pretty good, but hot, hot, hot!!!

We went to WDW Sat/Sun and had a good time. Chris and Emily both got haircuts at the barber shop. Chris ended up with green hair this time, with tons of pixie dust!!! We rode lots of rides in Fantasyland, until Emily just fell asleep on the TTC in Tomorrowland. Chris had fun though, because Space Mountain was broken down, so we got to see inside with the lights on.

We went to AK on Sunday and Emily got to spend several minutes alone time with Mickey in Camp Minnie-Mickey, because no one was behind her in line. She kept giving Mickey hugs and kisses. It was just precious!!!

Well, only 6 weeks left and I can't wait. And, if JenKatt got her docs already, then I'm hoping that mine come soon too, since I only live across the bay from her. I can dream, right???

I went shopping today at Dillard's and picked up 2 new casual outfits for dinner for only $28 each. Gotta love those end of summer sales!!!

And yes, I will be at MNSSHP on the 10th also. So, anytime that we all want to meet is fine with me. We will be dressed as Peter Pan, Wendy & Tinkerbell. So, you can't miss us!!!

Happy labor day all!

Last year, our DIS group reserved the private dining area in palo and it sat about 20 comfortably. Even with the shades pulled, was still bit hot in there, however. My 2 cents would be to stay in the main dining area with such a large group??

Thanks Eric for the great shot of our MN group... YOu realize it is Viking land here in Minnesota!!

No doc's yet

MaryJo, I like your idea about golf shirts....Christy and I may look into that.

Hoping for a great first day of school tomorrow!

Doug

I went to Ross today and bought a pair of Chinese Laundry sandals for one of my dresses for $8.99.. Chinese Laundry shoes go for close to $100 in the department stores.. gotta love it!!!

Yes we got it! Thanks so much for your help

No docs yet here as well:confused:

We are looking forward to seeing/riding the new Space ride at Epcot. We are at WDW 3 days prior to the cruise. I see that the offical opening of the ride is oct 8-10. Isn't it funny that the offical opening of the ride requires EPCOT to close early one of those days.

Had a wonderful labor day/anniversary. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Katie is walking now, not far, but she is a toddler now is guess.

Hopefully these next five weeks will go quickly as we are so looking forward to this cruise.

The travel channel is running the Disney cruise line show again Friday night at PM est.

Have to sign off for now we will post again tomorrow. Mike
