Hi Folks,

we're back.
The wedding was great. We started celebrating at 11am and didn't stop before 1 am. I only had 2 small glasses of beer, because I had to drive, but we feasted big time and danced a lot
Now it's time for some TV and relaxation.

Mike, congratuations on the purchase of that fine piece of German machinery. A friend of mine did a three-year-apprenticeship in a Pfaff-shop after he finished school. It is still one of the most famous brands for sewing machines over here.

I had to go with Captain Bryan because I am hooked on the idea of the Catamaran/Trimaran. I am on the 9:30 2 stop visit. Anyone interested in joining us? DH42, DW41, DS8, DD4.

My friends will be there, also. They are DH42, DW42, DD10 and DS8.

Very excited.

Also, should we get a trolley ticket in Key West if we are doing the scavenger hunt? I've been talking with DH if he is interested in doing this. But, my DD won't walk much -- wants me to carry her. Hah.

Tonyg--- Check out Dave's site www.dcltribute.com , he has alot of informtion about the rental cars. We usually use Avis, but may try budget this trip. Both Avis and Budget do pick you up at the port.

What an exciting holiday weekend. DH had to work all weekend from 6 PM - 6 AM. So we didn't do much of anything.

DD's and I just rented four movies for this evening. Kangaroo Jack, Flubber for the girls and the Bringing down the house & How to lose a guy in 10 days for me!

Should be a fun evening!!

Hi everyone, Just got home from job #2. Plan on relaxing the rest of today and tomorrow because I will be working every Sat & Sun through 9/21. Plus my #1 job which is M-F. Got to make that $$$$. I haven't bought anything for the cruise yet. After Labor day is when the sales really start up here in Fl. Now I have to find the TIME to shop.
Started watching the weather this week. Hope the hurricanes stay away this year.
Got to go check out the race in Darlington now. See if I can spot my sis. LOL

We stayed at AKL when it first opened - think Wilderness Lodge. A little darker though. Animals are great. Food and beverage are below the main level. Did enjoy the bar level. I think Annette has finally found a good restaurant to be head chef at - Jiko.

Considering SSB and I were one of the last to receive our docs last time, I am not going to thinking about mine for quite a while yet.
Still waiting to hear more from my builder. We are now within the 60-day time frame. Hope to hear from them right after the holiday. Will the builder be early or will we still be going on our vacation? Time will tell.

Hi Tulirose and Windermere...I have been lurking reading some of the other threads..like reading Verandah Man's threads..he sounds like a hoot...today was beautiful here but supposed to rain tomorrow and be on the cool side. We have a big Italian festival in our town this weekend..La Festa Italiano and it is a big deal with vendors coming from Little Italy in NY bringing their baked goods (cannoli's, etc)..we haven't gone down there yet as DH is working day shift this weekend and if it rains tomorrow, we won't go.

Bought our white golf shirts this weekend..one more thing out of the way. It seems like I am still trying to get caught up from our Vermont vacation..off to Baltimore for the day next weekend..then I wonder why I can't get anything done at home..it's because I am never home!!

I think Cheeseplease thought about it.

We haven't yet decided if we'll be there. We will spend the day til about 4pm at Universal and meet with Hopelea & family.
As we're not exactly fans of parades and costumes we are in doubt wether it is worth the extrabucks. We're also thinking about going to IllumiNations that evening, because it shouldn't be as crowded as usual as everybody will be at MNSSHP.

I think some of us will be meeting near LTT around 8 pm for MNSSHP on Oct. 10. We traded cell phone numbers with CheesePlease so we can try to meet up. I think Alikat is going also. Hey guys, did I get the time and place right? I know I printed that part out, but I can't find it. We're also going on Oct. 19. I can't remember about a meet them too. I guess the weekend has gotten to me, because I can't remember anything.
