Hey guys,

Getting ready to run out the door for work, but wanted to post a quick hello to everyone!

Everyone in my group is paid in full now (except Missy and Tammy, but they only owe $200) so it looks like my group of all 8 is a go!

I think we are doing Typhoon Lagoon the Friday before the cruise and Epcot the Saturday after the cruise!

Talk to everyone soon,
Dan

So if Piglett33; Alikat and SueEllen need her services (along with SueEllen's daughter), just let us know!! If she needs references, you can check with the people who have met her from these boards!!! Mary Jo

I think this is a great idea and might have to take her up on the offer.

I just realized that someone said that the Character breakfast is usually on days at sea so I hope ours isn't on Oct. 13 or we may not be able to go to the brunch.:( Right now we have late seating, but I'm on waitlist for main. Hopefully I'll get it. Does anyone know what time breakfast is? I can't remember.

My computer has been down all morning.....I finally get on and have to read 6 pages from today..... :)

Mike.......did I read that you sent a picture of the baltimore meet to everyone? I didn't get it. I would love to see it. I think the email address on the list Eric has is wrong.

We will be at the Radisson by 7 PM for the pool side meet. Did you decide where it would be if it was bad weather. I know I read somewhere way back that you were discussing a PLAN B...but I can't find it.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Mary Jo did you read my post about the tie?

Hope

Hope...thanks for the effort on the tie..GoofyNut got Sam one at Wal Mart but if you should go to the outlet again (even after the cruise) keep on the look out for one and I will send you the money plus postage. I am also going to try and stop at the Disney outlet in Orlando. I have the pins ready for the girls and am just waiting to get the necklaces before I send them out...this way it will be one less thing for me to not have to worry about forgetting for the cruise and since we are flying, one less thing to drag!! Hope they like the pins...maybe you could incorporate them in the gift bags you are leaving for them!! Know that they are not Disney stuff but they may enjoy them or you can give them to them as soon as they arrive...I will send them out to you after I return from Vermont which will be after August 22nd.

Matty204....pins and booklet are in the mail to you. ENJOY!!

Piglet33...looks like you are only 2hours from us...i will email you. Mary Jo

Deb has the info on her site: Here is the link http://www.wdwig.com/cware.htm
in case the text below doesn't paste correctly.

I've been to all 3. You can get some pretty good deals there. It's kind of a hit or miss deal, though.

There are 3 stores in the WDW Area (but not on Disney Property) which carry discounted/discontinued Disney merchandise. As with any "shopping outlet" experience, what you find is really *hit or miss*.

Two different "Outlet" stores are in the Belz Factory Outlet Mall and one, which opened June 2000, in the Premier Outlet Mall.

**********

Premier Outlet Mall:

Coming from the parks on I-4 (exits 25b and 26), you take exit 27 STRAIGHT INTO THE MALL AREA. This road is called Vineland. NO turns are needed.

FROM PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE
TO ORLANDO PREMIUM OUTLETS
Left onto Bonnet Creek Parkway
At 3rd light, Left on Buena Vista Drive
Right onto I-4 access road
Take I-4 exit toward Orlando
Take I-4 to Exit 27
Drive through stop light
The Outlet will be 1.5 miles ahead

The Character Warehouse and Character Premier are located in the Belz Factory Outlet Mall on International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819; (407) 345-5285.

From I-4 take Exit 30-A (which goes East) to the first traffic light, which is International Drive. Turn left (North) and go to the very end.

FROM PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE
TO BELZ OUTLET MALL
Left onto Bonnet Creek Parkway
Right onto Buena Vista Drive
Take I-4 East (to Orlando)
Take Exit 30A, 435 South, International Drive
Follow to the Dead End

For The Character Premier, go into Belz Mall Building 1, Entrance #1 (of 4); it is the 3rd or 4th store on your right Entrance Faces I-4 Belz Mall Building 2 will be on your left.

The Character Warehouse is on your left just before you get to the food court. Near the Carousel. Entrance #2

Be advised that as you approach the Belz Mall Area, it is extremely congested and confusing. There are several Belz Malls and an annex. The Character Warehouse is in Belz Mall 2. As you approach, it is the Mall at the end on the left side.

You may use your major credit cards for purchase.

Check the flyers are the Mall entrances, they contain numerous coupons for the Orlando area including ESPN at the Boardwalk and Pleasure Island.

I've been to the Belz Mall outlet and have been successful in getting some good deals but it is hit or miss. If you see it buy it because it probably won't be there the next time you go. We try to hit it on the way into town and then as we are leaving. I haven't been to the two other outlets -- Jim isn't into shopping and if I want to go to Downtown Disney for an afternoon I have to limit the other shopping. :D

I didn't get a copy of the Baltimore picture either. If it's too big for the hotmail account let me know and I'll give you my work email.

The Gettysburg re-enactment is this coming weekend. Jim and I weren't sure if we were happy or glad that we missed it. We figured it would have been even more crowded than it was but we've been to a couple of re-enactments here and they are really fun.

Has anyone close to Baltimore been to the Renaissance Festival there? We have one here that we go to every year but it's much newer than the Maryland festival and we've debated about going down sometime to see the Maryland one but probably not this year. I think we'll go to the one here (8th year) August 16th. I think my nephew's 1st birthday party is the Sunday so we'll probably go on Sunday. I got him a really cute Blue Jays Baseball t-shirt. My DB likes baseball but my DSIL isn't too thrilled with it but it's really cute and I couldn't resist.

Must go and get some work done. Voicemail is driving me crazy today -- I've spent most of the day on the phone and every time I get off the phone there's more messages. There's now 3 so I guess I should answer them.

The next three CD-getters:

Ave
Tulirose
Nancy (Windermere)

Three left

Hey,
I also want a cheque from the IRS :jester:

Silentshot, Hygiene99, CWD and Viking will share a van from MCO to the port. Perhaps we can start to sample the Schnaps on the way :p

Talking about the Disney outlets: We even found DCL-merchandise at the Beltz-outlet last time. So much about "Exclusively on the ship"

Piglet...Got to stop meeting this way...LOL..pm'd back

Bettemom - I just PM'd you my ressie number, so that you can link our dinner reservations. Let me know if you didn't get them.

Folks,
when you link your dinner ressies, think about a name for your table and I'll put it on the list.

Folks,

Spectram just asked me to remove his group from The List because they will be tied up in family activities, too.
Now except for the following three everybody is accounted for:

ReadyForDisney2003
StephMarty
Jen-n-Greg

I'll try to contact them next weekend again. Just in case I missed some posts or other signs-of-life ;) please tell me.
Our thread got very busy again and it's hard to follow it the last days.
Now it's bedtime, but we still are in the 90ies at 1115pm:eek:

Tomorrow 100% of the German and English Cruisetoberfesters will go to the movies and watch T3 - Hasta La Vista, Babies - We'll be back :jester:

Trevor will be 2 on September 7th--he was due at the beginning of October--but was early. I know what you mean about talking--he won't be quiet (not that I mind really) He is saying new words every day and putting together small sentences (okay 2 or 3 word sentences). He LOVES the Wiggles--I have a DVD player in the SUV for him and bought a couple of Wiggle DVDs for him. They are a lifesaver on the long trips like this. He also loves the Dalmations and all Disney. Since I have been a CM for so many years he also knows ALL of the Disney characters--it's kind of funny to ask him who each one is. And if you show him a picture that he is in and ask who it is he says "Trevors" it is too cute. Nice to know there will be a "playmate" for him--he has 2 cousins each within a year--one is 5 months older and the other is 6 months younger.

I mentioned to Tara about the other kids her age and she was thrilled to hear it--

I can't believe how close we are to our sail date! It will be here before we know it!

Sue Ellen

Still fumming about the sneaky AliKat stealing my #5000!!:p

Piglet33, don't worry about the Character breakfast. Last year we went, let the kids eat, DH and I had coffee and some toast, THEN we went to Brunch at 10:30. The food at the character breakfast is nothing special (same menu as the dinning rooms for sit down breakfast) What makes it special are of course the Characters come around to all the tables. Great photo op!

OK GANG!!!!
I am going to work on an information sheet. This will include all the information about meets, the sail-a-way party/T-shirts/lanyards ect.ect....
I will have it in a few days and will post it here. I will then e-mail everyone a copy. This way if we have late joiners all the information will be in one place!Unless they WANT to read 5000+ posts!

Wow, they sound very much alike. Emily was actually due mid-October, but she was breech, so I had a scheduled c-section about 10 days early. Anyway, she's the same way with the characters. Since we have annual passes, she's been going since she was 6 weeks old. She's just grown up with the characters, and each time we go to a character meal, she has a hard time eating because she's so interested in the characters. I guess it's good, because a lot of kids her age just scream.
