I have just posted three photo's from the Baltimore meet at :Baltimore Meet Just click on the Baltimore Album and enjoy. Will post some more as soon as possible. Just scroll down the left and then click on the photo to enlarge. Mike

MIKE! I love the Baltimore pictues! I also looked at the CRUISEARS pictures and saw the one of Ave and I! I had forgotten about that one!

Several e-mails were returned undeliverable. Let me know if you didn't get it, and I will attempt to resend it.

Rosemary, have a safe trip to Omaha! Good luck to Richard!:bounce:

Thanks for the list, RellingTwin! What is the latest you think people will still be at our DIS Meet area on Deck 10 during the Sail-Away party? The problem for me is that it is my "tradition" (more like obsession) to always be right up by the stage on Deck 9 during the Sail-Away Party (which means getting my spot early) in order to get close-up digital photos of all the entertainment, and the characters in particular, since the dancing characters are my FAVORITE part of cruising DCL. I know I'm crazy (What else is new?), but that's something I always do and since I have not yet been on the Magic, I definitely plan to do this time as well. But I don't want "the group" to think I am avoiding them or anything. I can come up to Deck 10 right after the characters leave the stage, if anyone will still be there (?).

Chris,
the CD is yours.
You may even be the first to get it when we meet at Indian Rocks Beach.

Mary,
GOOD JOB!!!!

Shari,
I nearly forgot to thank you for offering the webspace. If we really get into space-problems I will definitely fall back on it!!

Some will definitely be there - Lying on the ground due to Schnaps or overfed by Buckeyes :jester:

Good Morning !!

Our main seating table is growing by leaps & bounds..:Pinkbounc

Out TA has suggested that as we grow,if we become much larger, she will have our tables grouped together with same servers....so...if anyone else cares to join us...come on down....

I will need ressie number & names of each person in your group. You may either pm or email me...NO LATER than 4pm on Thursday the 7th of August.....

ALSO......Need ideas for name for our table(s)

Good morning to all! Another day closer to our cruise!

Shari,we will still be on deck 10 after the Characters leave the stage.

Fiona:

Have you ever gone to the Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo NY. It runs every weekend for the month of August and I believe the beginning of September. Andy and I used to go every year but in the last few years try to go every other year. It is lots of fun and tons of things to do and see(events, games, food). The actors really get into it and every time we go there seems to be something new.

Piglet33, don't worry about the Character breakfast. Last year we went, let the kids eat, DH and I had coffee and some toast, THEN we went to Brunch at 10:30. The food at the character breakfast is nothing special (same menu as the dinning rooms for sit down breakfast) What makes it special are of course the Characters come around to all the tables. Great photo op!

That's good since the Character breakfast would mainly be for Haley anyway. Glad we won't miss brunch. Thanks for this info.

Arlene, Haven't been to that one but we'll put it on our list. They are really fun to go to for a day.

Bette -- table name "The Mainstays" ??

Must go and get ready for work. Yuck. Raining here again and had to shove the dog out this morning -- after she woke me up she decided she really didn't want to go out because it was raining.

Eric - Actually I don't think I was the one who offered the webspace, but I intended to, so consider the offer made. :smooth: I own several domains (on their own servers, not the "free" space offered with AOL or such) and do have plenty of space. So just let me know when you need it.

RellingTwin - I will be up to Deck 10 right after the characters finish dancing and leave the stage. ;) P.S. - I will also try to track down Mark this month or next. His mother goes to the same hair salon I do (the HairPort at the Fly-In - Isn't that cute? LOL.), so if all else fails I will mention it to her as she's a very nice lady.

Eric - I think, actually, that it was my DH, Chris, that offered web space if we need it. We have plenty available too.

Yes! Sorry I couldn't remember who it was. There have been so many pages here lately that it boggles the mind!

Looks like Eric won't have any problems if he runs out of space with his AOL account!

Fiona and Hope....let me know if you want me to bring you anything on Williamsburg....we go there at least once or twice a year since we have a timeshare there that allows us to spend a few days there rather than having to book a week and the drive for us is only 8 hours so we usually do several long weekends there. We were just down there in June with GoofyNut and husband and we met up with Scootersmom---I sent several pieces of information on Williamsburg to Scootersmom which I think she found helpful in planning her trip (in fact, if you look at the Octoberfest home page, that is them in the horse and carriage at Williamsburg)--if you've never been there, it can be overwhelming since there is alot to see. Let me know and I will get some stuff together and bring it on the cruise!! or I can mail it to you!! Mary Jo

RellingTwin,
Received the itinerary!!! Thanks so much for all your hard work.
We are planning on arrival at the Radisson around 4:00 to 5:00 pm as we arrive at MCO at 2:30 pm. We will plan on the meeting
(relaxing) at the pool. For booking shuttle to port for next day is it on a first come first serve basis? What would be considered an early shuttle and what is the best time to plan on arrival at the port on Saturday? If we can't get an early shuttle we are thinking about just taking a cab. Would like your imput on this. Thanks!!

Tina,
Sent out check today for the ScavengEAR Hunt in Key West.
Just a small correction to our group names: take last " Jeff" off and insert "Ross".
Thanks for all the info. We are looking forward to this as haven't been to Key West for 12 years. Last time we were in Key West we ended up pregnant (which wasn't supposed to happen for medical reasons) with our 11 year old DD. Key West kind of holds a special place in our hearts for obvious reasons. We are also celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary in Key West, who could ask for more???

Our Minnesota meet is still on for Saturday, 08/09 and based on the weather we may end up taking the kids to a water park (OKWmeister's idea!!) in our area. We are planning a back yard barbecue and some fun for the kids to get to know each other. If the kids are content on the cruise, the parents are REALLY happy, lucky, etc. for the entire cruise.

We will take pictures of our Minne-Meet and post them next week. It was great to see the pictures of the North Eastern American group. (Sorry if I didn't get that quite right).

Eric,
Even in Minnesota we are hearing about the extreme temps in Germany. Last night the network news showed pictures of the extreme drought and how low the water levels have become. Showed wreckage from WWII in river or lakes that are showing up. How are the people coping over there? I hope much more civilized then what seems to happen here when we have extended periods of heat. People get so short tempered and much more crime starts to happen. Keep COOL!!

Piglet33
Thanks for the Disney Outlet info - We are staying in Orlando until Sunday night 10/19 and wanted to do some serious Disney shopping at the outlet stores we had always heard about.

Will try to start posting more, but having too much fun reading,
reading, reading and reading ... and have learned so much.

Nancy (yes, another one) aka Boardwalk4me

Fiona & Hope--- Definitely take Mary Jo up on the offer of info on Williamsburg! The packets of info she mailed us were so helpful in planning our trip in June. The Williamsburg trip was one of the best vacations we've ever taken and we're all saying we'd like to go back again sometime.

Bette--- I know I sent you our ressie #, but not sure if you have the names for our group of four or not. We're Colleen, Don, Josh and Mandy. We'll try to help think of a name for the group... I'll ask the guys for their input tonight.

Eric--Thanks in advance for the cd!!

Mary--- Many thanks for putting all the meet & greets in one place! How convenient.

Speaking of merchandise at the Disney outlets..... We've even found stuff in there that was still for sale in the parks and resorts, but at half the price! It's well worth a look if you have the time.

:D I've met Sarah and she seems like a very mature, responsible young lady. I'd trust her with my kids if the need arose.

We haven't received our rebate yet either! I looked on the website and ours is to be mailed out on the 8th, so guess they're staggering the payments.

Glad Jim's toe is on the mend and hope that Amy's cold is getting better. Summer colds are the worst!

Rosemary and Rich--- Good luck on the Omaha wedding trip.

Better run and get some stuff done around here.

Colleen

Mary Jo -- info on Williamsburg would be great. I've been to a couple of websites but it does seem overwhelming. I'm hoping that we can go sometime next spring but it's a longer drive for us so it will take more planning. Would also love to do Washington (was there as a kid but not lately). Next year though I think.

My family is talking about Christmas at WDW next year but we'll see on that one. My DM only wants to go to WDW with my niece and nephew but Christmas is a hard time to get away for both my DB and I. Would be nice though. DS would be forced to join us too. :D

DS loved WDW as a child -- has been there at least 12 times but since he hit teenagehood isn't interested but might suggest that he bring a friend along which would make it palatable -- he'd be 18 at that point!!! Time so flies with kids. Can't believe he's 17 now.

Must get back to work.

Fiona

I have not yet joined the list but will do so soon.

If you all need any additional information about Williamsburg just "yell" I'm close and can pick up whatever you need.

I probably won't do the Deck 10 sail-a-way--as much as I would like to--it is a tradition for us to be right by the stage on Deck 9 with the Kids! Especially with Trevor. I think the most fun is had down there. Now, if you want to do a Deck 9 meet---well that's another story :teeth:
