CRT?

My husband and I enjoyed the dinner. It was the only place he wants to go back to this time. We do mostly character meals for the kids, but we both liked CRT over Ohana.

I've done lunch twice and the first time really loved the food, the second time my pork chop was extremely dry and overcooked but everything else was good.

We have eaten there every trip for 17 years and enjoyed all of the meals but our dinner last month was the best so far. They seem to have improved the food quite a bit since last year. The Beef and Shrimp entree is delicious.

We loved it! However I have noticed that you can have a great meal and go back to the same place the next day and have an awful meal. I really think it depends on who is working the kitchen and how well they keep up with orders.

We just ate dinner there in January for my DD's 11th birthday. It was lovely. We all enjoyed our food and desserts too :)
Wait staff was also excellent.

I had a really excellent dinner there on my last trip. The food was well prepared and tasty. Was it on par with Signatures? No but it was MUCH better than the food at any other character meal we did... and we did about 90% of them that trip.

I have been going back and forth. The food has been a hit or miss from reviews I have read. My husband finally just talked me out of it. (for now) because two credits if on ddp or the amount oop just seems like too much for a chance at bad food. I love Princess's and sure castle would be cool to eat in but... just not worth it to us at this time.

I liked my food. My partner felt his portions were too small and was still hungry. My daughters meal looked and apparently tasted awful, the saddest looking piece of chicken I have ever seen. Characters were good, the room is pretty. I'm glad we did it once, but wouldn't bother again.

Others have said it before and I continually echo the statement. The only thing consistent about the restaurants in WDW is their inconsistency. We've eaten breakfast there a few times and enjoyed it very much. We stopped going when DD outgrew the princesses. It's just not worth the expense to us at this point. We will definitely go again some day.

Most reviews I read aren't good! Can anyone say they like CRT for dinner?

I have had dinner there twice and enjoyed the meal both times. Service was excellent and the food was delicious as well. I also have had lunch there several times and enjoyed my selections.

WHy would you accept bad food? I am not going to try to change your mind, but no way would I be okay with a lousy meal.

With that said I would suggest Akershus for breakfast. It is an outstanding value on the DDP, and the food and Princess interaction was really good. My family enjoys it more than CRT.

Oh wow, I may have to relook at that one.
Thanks for the lousy food comment. I just wasn't sure if I should complain if I'm served to bloody of a steak or anything else wrong. I am a picky eater so is my son. We only saw one thing we as a family might like. maybe two. Thanks thought makes me feel better with the good reviews.

There is a difference between not liking the food you choose and being served food cooked wrong. Many years ago DH and I went out for Valentines Day dinner WE are nto that couple, so a nice dinner on a week night was an unusual treat. We were in a local "fine" dining restaurant and seated on the other side of a narrow divider from another couple. I have no idea what on earth was wrong with our "neighbor's" prime rib but he sent the darn thing back over 5 times. He was miserable and nasty to the server. Finally DH, who after the second complaint that we could nto help but overhear, was losing patience. By that last time my big Paul Bunyan of a man had had enough of the harassment and bellowed to the guy "For the love of God, shut up and eat!!!" The poor server practically fainted! Now we live in a pretty small community, and my DH is very well known, and is a man whose reputation is to have a very long fuse, but one that should not be lit, so I have no doubt the guy knew my DH. LOL!

Oh wow, 5 times..wow that's a little much. I have sent food back when it wasn't made right. I also do know it isn't the servers fault and I try my hardest not to be a royal B to them. I always use my Please, and Thank yous. I also make sure the server knows exactly why I am sending something back.

Well, if you're going to be a "royal" B, CRT would certainly be the place to do it! :P
