Is it true that the breakfast at crt is now either french toast and bacon or the eggs, potatoes and sausage/bacon? I'm booked there for next monday and I think I may skip it if it is. Its just so expensive for what you get, and now it is too late to get cp.....what do you all think? I'll be with my 13 year old grandaughter.:confused3

I remember french toast is one of the options as it is the one I picked,it was stuffed with cream cheese and pretty yummy.CRT is not known for food worth the $ you pay, you are paying to eat in the castle in my opinion. It is worth it at least once to experience the castle. I have a 6 year old so we eat there every trip.

Here is what it states on the Disney world site for CRT
"Breakfast
Enjoy pre-plated all-you-care-to-eat American breakfast favorites including bacon and eggs, French toast, granola, yogurt and pastries as you sip on your choice of juice, milk, coffee or tea. All the while, Disney Princesses visit Guests' tables."

We ate there on March 14, and yes, they have changed things so you have to choose the french toast meal or the eggs meal, unlike in the past where you had got both. I was disappointed and felt more ripped off than usual, but I would do it again for the experience of dining in the castle. Not knowing your granddaughter, I cant say if the experience is worth it for you or not. My daughter feels it's totally worth it at any age (she's 18 now!)
It's already paid for, so you might as well go for it!

I think it is just disappointing that they have gotten so cheap, I mean really how much does it cost for eggs and potatoes? I just feel like they have crossed over to greedy. I know you don't go there for the food, but if I am paying close to 100.00 for breakfast I deserve a little more than french toast and bacon. I have been looking forward to this meal forever, but I'm just not sure.:sad1:

We just ate there at the end of July. For adults, you had to choose between stuffed french toast (which my husband got, and said it was no better than IHOP food, I didn't try it), some kind of eggs/bacon combo platter, and the third choice was yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. I had the yogurt and it was very good yogurt and granola - a HUGE portion in fact. Not worth 60 bucks... but that's not what you pay for.

The kid's meals were eggs, bacon, and french toast sticks. They didn't get a choice so I don't know if they offer any kid's alternatives. They brought ONLY the french toast sticks for my 2yo.

One very small dish of fruit to share, and a plate of croissants, lots of coffee and juice. The croissants were pretty good.
