We have a lunch reservation at CRT for 12:05. should we ask for the check when we order, or when is the best time to ask for it?

If you're trying to get out of there as quickly as possible, don't worry - they will be moving you along as quickly as they can. They brought us our check (I didn't ask for it) when they brought us our food.

moves along at a pretty smooth clip. The appetizer is the same for everyone and is delivered to your table pretty quickly after you sit down. Dessert is the same way after the entrees are cleared.

Everything moves along quickly. Some people have described it as rushed, but I have never felt rushed personally. It's a small dining room with a lot of demand and they do whatever they can to turn tables quickly. In many ways I prefer it over some of the character meals where I sit 15-20 minutes after I'm done eating waiting to see the laast couple of characters.

when we made our reservation for dinner we had to prepay. Is that only for dinner or why would you need your check?

We also prepaid at our lunch last Nov. and tip is included so there is no need to receive a check from you server.
