Sorry if this has been asked before, but...

We are vacationing with another family in Dec. and my friend and I are taking our girls to CRT for breakfast one day. When making the ADR through the concierge, my friend was charged for the entire meal. We are still trying to figure out if we are going for the DDP or DDE. My question is, since she already paid, how do we apply our discounts and/or credits????:confused3

Thanks for your help!

We use the DDE card for CRT all the time. Yes, we have to pre-pay, but at the end of the meal we give the DDE card to the cm and the discount is applied. It comes back as a Disney Gift Card though - not credited to your card.

For the second part, I have never paid for CRT and then tried to apply the DDP so hopefully someone else can answer you. My thought is to use that Concierge planning office - that's what why they are there! If you add the DDP to your reservation, they should know if you can get the $$$ credited back to your card or if you'll have to get the Disney Gift Card at the restaurant. Normally when you reserved with DDP already on your reservation, they just take your credit card information to hold the reservation, but do not charge it unless you are a no show.

Remember that CRT costs 2 credits on the dining plan. Most people find it cheaper to pay for this out of pocket rather than use 2 credits.
