Is this possible? What other charcaters are usually there. Will the boys feel out of place with all the girls? I would really like to try this but don't want them to feel silly.

We went to CRT when my son was about 1. Snow White gave him so many kisses, he had lipstick all over his face - It was ADORABLE! Don't know how older boys would feel, but it is VERY Princess"y".

We ate breakfast there when our boys were 4 and 6. They really enjoyed the entire experience. The beautiful princesses definitely held their interest, as well. Jasmine's outfit actually made them blush. It was like "Hooter's" for the underage crowd.

We're taking my DS's, 2 and 5, this upcoming July since my neice really wanted to eat in the castle. The 2-yo doesn't really care. The 5 yo wasn't happy about it at first, but I told him Cinderella's mice might be there too (right?) and he was excited about that!

All depends what kind of boys they are and what they feel comfortable doing.

My 9yo DS eats at CRT but thats because he has a 4yo sister that is princess-obsessed.

I wouldn't take him, if it was just him, but thats his personality. He deals with it, because its his sister.

Why not try dinner. Cinderella is only in the lobby.

...and the Dads like it , too!

We took DS to CRT in August (1 week shy of his 4th Birthday) and he loved it. He didin't interact too much with the characters (For Dinner it was Fairy Godmother, Suzy & Perla) and dd not want his pic taken with Cinderella but he thought it was "so cool" to be inside the castle:goodvibes

I would say it depends on the age of the boys.

We ate here last year. My boys were sweet and said they wouldn't mind CRT since it was for mom. That being said... my boys ages 11 and 9 didn't like it at all. They were so embarrased when we took the pictures with Cinderella. They didn't like it when Cinderella kept calling them handsome princes. When the Fairy Godmother came by our table they were also embarrased. They weren't rude, but they tried to act like she wasn't there. :) They did "feel" like they were the only boys.

Now my 4 year old twins liked it okay, but only because we were "in" the castle. They didn't really want their picture taken with Cinderella either.

i have the most precious photo of my youngest son and cinderella. oh, by the way, he was around 20 or 21 years old when i took it. yep, it was cuz mom wanted him to go. otherwise, he would not have gone. however, we have seen many boys, all ages, at CRT. you know your sons best. what ever you think will work is the best approach. maybe you could go alone:sad1: and have the guys do a guys breakfast. good luck! oh! i forgot.....in december we are planning a magical gatherings family reunion--the "boys" are 37, 32 and 27. the princesses are 1, 3, and 1 month. you guessed it--CRT. i think the guys will go along cuz mom would like for them to go plus we are paying for that meal! we will see.

My son loved it. He has older and younger sisters, and I can honestly say he liked the experience every bit as much as they did. They gave him a sword, which he adored, and he almost swooned when Sleeping Beauty kissed his cheek. We went when he was a toddler and when he was 6, and both times it was a hit.

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, DS LOVES the ladies. We're talking about a kid who was "engaged" at the age of three, and then stepped up to being "in love" with his friend's MOTHER at the age of five!

We went when my boys were about 6 & 7. They both really enjoyed it. In fact, the older wanted to go there last trip for his 11th birthday (he's been in love with Cinderella since an early age) but we ended up cancelling 'cuz it's so $$$ and we did lots of other special birthday things that trip. It was one of my favorite meals, watching my guys get all that attention from the Princesses - and lots of priceless pictures!

Like the PP said, my guys tend to love the ladies. :lmao:

I agree that it depends upon the ages. My 2 DS went back when it was 1 TS credit...and man, am I glad we did. I actually loved the food as well as the atmosphere, and my yougest (then 4) was in love with Cinderella. But even my older boyish, girls are icky type (age 7) liked it too. They both loved it when the fairy godmother told them to wish and put pixie dust in their pockets. They carried it in their pockets the rest of the trip and I found it in the wash when we got back! I think, though, that now (6 and 9), the older one would feel uncomfortable. He doesn't like being fawned over... If they are "hams" and like the attention, this is definitely the choice. I think the princesses like the boys for a change of pace...

I wouldn't necessarily say it depends on the age. It depends more on the attitude of the boy towards character interaction. The first time we went, my DS was 8. He agreed to it because his princess mom wanted to do it. But he loves getting all the autographs that he can. Turns out he loved it. When we planned another trip 2 years later, he asked if we could eat there again. Now, he won't stand in line for the princesses but he does love to meet them at character meals.
