CRT vs 1900 Park Fare?

We were going to skip CRT because the prices were just mind-blowing to me. But after some consideration, I decided that it is a very special experience and we should do it this once when we are there to celebrate our DD turning 10 (but getting in there with the 9-year-old-price-tag).

We were also planning on 1900 Park Fare for dinner. But now that we've decided to bite-the-bullet with CRT, should we skip 1900 Park Fare?

They're very different. If you can do both I would. The only repeater is Cinderella.

They are definitely different. If I had to pick just one for the experience it would be CRT. I liked 1900 but CRT was a better "experience". I did love the 1900 breakfast though - THOSE characters were hilarious.

Dinner at 1900 park fare seems very hard to get I into. I cannot get a ressie there.

Yes. You're already doing the #1 princess meal princess:

The last time we went to dinner at 1900 PF it really turned me off, although that was quite a few years ago. Only good things about it were dessert and characters. The stepsisters are funny. The room felt like a glorified conference room.

I was happy to find this thread. I was just having this dilemma in my own mind. I was debating whether to cancel CRT for my yougest and me. I think we are going to have Princess overload with Akershus, CRT and 1900 Park Fare, but it is a once in a lifetime trip for us, and now I'm thinking we should just do all 3. The youngest wants to do all 3 (she's 7 and it is her first trip...the 15 year old went at 6 1/2.)

Both very good both very different. 1900 is a buffet dinner and CRT is not.
If you can afford both, then I would do both. If not, Go with CRT. I found the food to be a little bit better there.

No such thing as a princess overload. When we went, my daughter was 5 and we did CRT, Akershus, 1900, and H&V with Sophia the First. She couldn't get enough!

We did the same thing, CRT, Akershus, and 1900 PF.

I don't like the atmosphere of 1900 PF. If you've got the ultimate CRT booked, I'd skip 1900 PF unless you've got the extra cash and nothing else to do with it...

Park fare is my favorite character interaction, hands down. I also love the food. We never miss it! I was turned off by CRT. The cost was ridiculous, the food wasn't good and the characters weren't excited to be there. I would never do it again.

We did breakfast at CRT and I wasn't a fan of the food. I loved having the experience in the castle and the princess interaction was great, but I didn't love the food. My picky kids also had trouble finding something they liked. We prefer Akershus breakfast or 1900 Park Fare breakfast or dinner. I'm glad we did CRT once but it won't be on my do again list.
