Hello,

I have reservations for 7pm on the night of the Christmas party. Not ideal but at this point I am unable to get an earlier reservation. This will be my family's first time dinning there. I am estimating it will take maybe an hour to an hour and a half at most for this meal. If my estimate holds true will we miss any of the parades or special events if we are done by 8:30?

TIA

We are doing the Halloween party this year and our dinner reservation is at Be Our Guest for 4:30 pm. I would not take a later reservation on a party night because we do not want to miss any of the party. You will be okay for the the fire works which will be at 9pm. I am not sure if they run 2 Christmas parades. I do know that the Halloween party has a parade at 8 and then again at 10. The lines for the meet and greets start at about 5pm.

Keep trying to get an earlier time. Check twice a day every day. Last year we did not get our Be our Guest reservation until 2 weeks before we went. And it was for 4:30 on our party night. A lot of people book at 180 plus 10 and then change later.

One year we did Ohana 5:30 and then MVMCP. I kind of regretted it. We could've gotten to MK at 4 and really enjoy the attractions more. Back then it cost about $35, it's about double (lol I say back then and it was only 8 yrs ago)
I am now a firm believer of 1 special at a time. I'd save CRT to another day or maybe breakfast. JMO. Technically the party is 5 hours long and you are using 1.5 hours for CRT.

I wouldn't spend an hour and a half of a 5 hour party that costs $60 a person at a meal.

I still have time so I check multiple times a day for something to open up. I am prepared to give up the reservation if it comes down to it. My last trip down I attended the Halloween party and really enjoyed it and really wish to maximize my time at the party. I will continue to stalk the dining reservations and hope something opens up.

It wastes too much party time imho..We did that ONCE and ended up not getting out of the restaurant till almost 9pm..It was not worth the party time we missed. From that point on we always did Counter service or a nice lunch at a resort restaurant and grabbed something CS at the partty

I'd keep checking for a much earlier time. We did CRT for MNSSHP last year. Our reservation was for 4:15pm and we didn't get out until 6pm. It was really busy. We got straight in line for the Dwarves.

I wouldn't use that much time during the party. Potentially, you might not get out until 9pm. Many families not attending the party make reservations from 6:45pm to take advantage of their park day. That is alot of party time to miss out on.

I'd prefer to do CRT another day, maybe breakfast or lunch if you can get it.
