CRT reservation question

We are currently a group of 10, however there is a chance (50/50) 6 people cancel. We won’t know for a while.

I am fine making a reservation for 10 at most meals, figuring I can easily change to a reservation for 4, or show up with less people at most places.

However CRT is worrying me, I’m thinking I am better off making a reservation for 4 and another for 6, so if the people cancel we only cancel the one reservation for 6 and dont need to try and find another reservation for 4.

Am I over thinking this?

If you're going to be on the hook for those prepayments, I wouldn't make all 10 unless you knew you could swing it.

Can I swing it sure, do I want to be out the cost of 6 peoples meals if they cancel? Nope.... other family has MDE account too, I would have her make the 6 under her account, I’ll do all the others.

I'd have them make the reservations. But that's just me.

It would be one less thing for my brain to deal with...it's why I'm not doing CRT as part of the big herd when we go in 2020.

Have them make a separate reservation. Then, if they come, ask at check in if they can put the two groups together (or at least close to each other). They will try to accommodate you, if possible (though, obviously, no guarantees).

If they are not able to put the two groups together, if there are kids from the two groups who want to sit together,there is no reason people from the two parties can’t trade places with each other. As long as the final groupings are 6/4, you can sit however you want. They won’t care. There might be questions about adult/children’s meals, but I”m sure they can work around that, as long as the number of seats are correct.
