I called and made CRT reservations around the 180 mark. We decided that we didn't want to use two dining credits for this and decided to pay OOP. I called and spoke with a cast member and told her my plan. She came back and quoted me a price of 147.39. This is for three adults (technically) and one child for breakfast. Does this sound right? I was figuring about 124.96 before taxes looking at the prices on another site. I am wondering how much taxes are there? or if there are summer rates like the holiday rates? Did she charge me for four adults? Or very possibly, Did the rates go up?
I'm not complaining, just wonder if anyone else has wondered the same thing or has had to pay the same for their family?
TIA

done CRT in the past, the tax and tip were charged ahead of time. We were not presented a bill at all at the end of the meal.

Like PP wrote, this total would include tax and 18% gratuity. Did you add both of those in? The CM's total sounds right to me.

So you've got:

3 adults: $33.99 x 3 = $101.97
1 child: $22.99
Subtotal: $124.96
With 5% Tax (this is what I was told by Disney Dining): $131.21
18% gratuity on $124.96: $22.49
Grand total:$153.69

Looks like your CM was actually giving you a break!

If the price already included the tax, and you only added on the gratuity, the total would be $147.45, which is closer to what they told you.

I did the same thing except with lunch. It didn't make sense to use 2 TS credits for lunch so I just paid it outright. I was told the tip was included so for lunch at CRT for 2 adults and 1 child the total came to $122.17. So adding another adult for your breakfast looks about right.

Okay, your question got me thinking about my total. I did the same thing and paid out of pocket for crt breakfast and already paid for it. I have 3 adults 2 children and 1 baby. The total I was given was $194.14. but now that I am figureing it out with 6.5% tax and 18% gratuity I come up with 185.93. Was I overcharged or is there an upcharge for a party of 6?

Try with 5% tax. I called ahead of time to see if the DDP was worth it, and they told me that MK is in a different county so the tax is only 5%.

Oops, that wouldn't be right either.

Sorry,
Diana
