So I am trying to decide what to do for DD's birthday while we are there for her surprise birthday trip just her and I. We will be arriving on her birthday and I have reservations for the Tea in the afternoon at GF and had planned to then do the fireworks dessert party that night. They have not opened up for booking that yet so I don't have an ADR for that yet.

The other day I asked her to name 5 of her very favorite things to do at Disney World but not to include the HDDR or BBB because I promised DH we wouldn't do those without him. Well CRT was the first thing she said and the others were rides.

I checked online and there was a 5:10 and a 7:10 available on her birthday for dinner at CRT. I think doing the tea and CRT and the dessert party might be way too much. The dessert party is cheaper and something new for us. (I need to make sure DH doesn't mind if we do it without him but I don't think he will.)

I'm just not sure what to do. If we did CRT I could get the chocolate slipper or a cake or something to surprise DD. If we do the dessert party I could still maybe have a cake sent to the room or something. I just don't know. I wish I could ask her but if I do then she'll know something is up.

We've been to the Wishes function twice. If there is reasonable buy this is it.The desserts are good and more importantly it is not oversold. We had a child and an older adult there (Mom 80) both times and they both loved it. so did we but I have severe sweet tooth.

DD and I both love sweets too. I thought this would be something fun and new to try that we would both really like. To be honest, I hadn't really thought of CRT until she mentioned it. We've done it a couple of times for lunch but not in the last two trips and she hasn't mentioned it so I didn't realize she liked it that much. I promised DH thought that I wouldn't plan a bunch of expensive TS meals that we could do this on a budget.

I guess I could order a cake or the slipper or something to be delivered at the Tea for her birthday.

I know that she will enjoy either becuase she won't know that the other was an option. And she will be on cloud nine just being there so its not like I'm at risk of disappointing her. I just have such a hard time deciding on stuff like this.
